I don't really hear a lot of talk about Uncharted on this board so I'm not sure how this thread'll be received, but I frankly can't wait to kill a shit-ton of minorities in the next episode of Nathan Drake's adventures in white supremacy thinly masked as a quest for ancient treasures.
I got in on the multiplayer beta, and while it was a lot of fun (a lot more fun than UC2's multiplayer, that's for sure) and the maps were pretty impressive, I hope Naughty Dog hasn't devoted too much time to the multiplayer in lieu of the campaign, which should, by all means, be one of the greatest action/adventure quests of its time.
I've greatly enjoyed Uncharted up till now and UC3 will probably be the first retail game of this gen I'll buy the day it comes out. I haven't gotten this excited about a game in a long time, and while I am almost positive Nuaghty Dog will deliver, it also makes me quite nervous that my expectations are too high.

I wasn't terribly impressed with the first one, but I did have fun with Uncharted 2. Here's hoping for none of those crossbow guys in this one though.

Uncharted 2 is quite possibly my favourite game, so I am really really excited for UC3. I got in on the multiplayer beta and had quite a lot of fun, but otherwise I'm trying to remain dark on it, since I had so much of UC2 spoiled for me. Other than the E3 trailer I haven't watched any videos or read any previews (except for those behind-the-scenes ones, because those are just really interesting).
I haven't been this excited for a video game in a long time.

This series is excellent, I seriously can't wait for U3.

I went into Uncharted 1 expecting something horrid (I hadn't read any reviews- and c'mon- that box art!) and I ended up loving it. Uncharted 2 I came in expecting the second coming but after all the megahype reviews found it less impressive- kinda like Tomb Raider 2 I found it to be "more and faster" but less compelling. I hope they give this 3rd one the 80's blockbuster painted poster it deserves though.

I still haven't played the second game - been waiting to have a bit of extra cash to buy it, now that it's a bit closer to my preferred $20 price point. One question, though, does the Game of the Year edition include any additional content for singleplayer games? Because if all it includes is online multiplayer stuff, I'll just opt for the regular edition.

I've seen the Game of the Year Edition brand new for 20 bucks a couple of times now, so at this point I wouldn't even bother going after the regular edition.
I think it's mostly multiplayer stuff, but you might be able to use some of the alternate costumes in single player. Can't remember. And it does have some motion comic thingy included that you can read/watch.

As someone who doesn't often play multiplayer modes, I thought the online stuff for Uncharted 2 was great. Still need to go back and finish off the Trophies for it, though.
