Oh, man. I'm new to this thread, but I've already found tons of stuff to look up on YouTube later.
I watched a little bit of Survival Arts. That looked so bad, it was entertaining. Flabby guys posing all super-macho, jumping all over the place and growling like animals? Awesome.
I think one that could be added to the list is the Super NES/Super Famicom Cho Aniki fighting game. I found it on YouTube ages ago...
Remarkably enough, this game, too, has a weird Statue of Liberty parody... thing. Enjoy!

Vetus: Sorry I didn't wanna quote you and bog down things having a copy of the videos. I also didn't want to try to remove the embed and leave gibberish. Thank you for making me watch UB 22 again. It had been awhile I'd almost forgotten why I hated, just that I hated it... thank you for making me relive that one. a pity that GT isn't any good. I've seen it in second hand stores for cheap, but it tends to be when I find something else and don't want to spend the money. As a fellow DBZ fan and a fighting game enthusiast (Not much of an expert, decent at arcade modes, creamed on online) I'm sure you have checked out the Budokai/Tenkaichi games, if not do so. An absolute ton of characters and it's kind of fun. Me and my buddy went through on one and played Yamcha survival mode. One of us take Yamcha, the other or the computer gets increasing strength characters and we see how many we can take out. Boy i feel like a massive nerd for that....

I tried Battle Wrath, got it through HOTUD. The premise is ripped from Eternal Champions, with the added idea that the masters you can put together with the characters (various IA sets - the player himself is a master) are the souls of several historical leaders and strategists like Hannibal of Carthage, Napoleon and Sun Tzu, mixed with some fictional ones. Decapitations and mutilations are possibile (so much they are counted in the statistics of a master), and the fighter has to gain experience to tackle the stronger ones - it's also possible to have unofficial fights with lower-level opponents only for experience. Sounds good, but the execution is abysmal to say the least, with horrible graphics, ridicolous character models, atrocious scrolling (it caused me headaches) and bad controls. At least Mobygames has screenshots of this one. The death animation of the black knight is incredibly hilarious, though. I'd gladly make some movies of it myself but for some reason my PC hates Fraps now - it sistematically crashes when I run it, and I tried two different versions.

As a Dragonball fan of course I have played Budokai series and it's awesome, just like a Dragonball fighting should have been. Unfortunately I haven't played yet Super Dragonball Z which I heard it's very good and it's from a forme producer of Capcom who worked at Street Fighter and Darkstalkers: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Dragon_Ball_ZIf you haven't played Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi don't even bother. It's more like an unlimited Quick Time Event game and less like a traditional Dragonball fighting game. Which means it's more like watching Dragonball Z with georgeous graphics and less like actually playing a game. Such a shame.

One of the benefits of all those video rental chains going out of business I suppose. As I said I'm not an expert, but I have played it quite a bit of SF III/Alpha/Alpha III/EX3 and it feels realy similar, but like most DBZ game it's kind of special move centric. Where you can easily kamehameHA! you're way through... It always seems that they have so much weight to them where you always get knocked down when they connect.

How about Double Dragon 5? It's one of the worst fighters I have played in my life. It actually makes me angry thinking about it.

Am I the only one who thinks that Double Dragon hit its peak by 2, and every other game in the series afterwards was just as ridiculous and/or bad? Also, there's a dominatrix, and you can puncher her so she turns into a pile of worms. There's a dominatrix. And you can punch her so she turns into a pile of worms.

Eh. Am I the only one who thinks that Double Dragon hit its peak by 2, and every other game in the series afterwards was just as ridiculous and/or bad? Aw Double Dragon 3 on the NES wasn't that bad even if it is tougher than Jack Reacher Oh and Double Dragon Advance > any other Double Dragon.

I played it awhile back and thought what the hell why do the characters look so squat? Also, has anyone mentioned that TMNT fighting game on the SNES?

Super Double Dragon was RAD, just sayin. But I remember it getting really bad reviews so I may be in the minority here. Still, loved it and I still think it's rather good.

Bumping this because I just found another jewel: Brudal Baddle. Even considering it was a shareware title produced with very little money, I have to wonder why it was made firsthand. Luckily (?) Youtube has a video for your pleasure.

Nice finding! Added to the list. What does "Brudal" stands for? Is it an anagrammatism for "Brutal"? Kudos to the most happy background in a fighting : For those who want to give it a try legally it's abandonware so you can find it easy on Google.

Also, has anyone mentioned that TMNT fighting game on the SNES? Isn't the Super NES one considered the best of the three Tournament Fighters? I know I liked it and would love to own it.
