Maybe the guy got confused with One Must Fall 2097's sequel, One Must Fall: Battlegrounds?
(Despite hearing bad things, I've yet to play this. I do intend to buy a fully boxed copy one day)
Or possibly the beta version that just involved two karate guys fighting? (A short search was unable to locate a video of it)

They might have to decide that Liu Kang survived, otherwise we might have to put up with Shujinko. I really hope not... or at least give him a better voice actor if they do. If Liu does come back, i've a feeling he'll be a Zombie again. But with all the dead MK fighters, Liu Kang is the least of my worries. (Sub-Zero and Nightwolf for starters.)

I remember watching my brother play this in the arcade and thinking the graphics looked so cool back in the early/mid 90s.
Pretty Fighter for the SFC is pretty awful too.
I still like Martial Champions though despite all its flaws.

Holy crap i forgot all about Frost. Now that i recall all the other MK fighters from the lesser games, they may be alright if they can do what they did with MK9. Thank you my furry friend, you have given me hope for the MK series.

Seems like nobody has mentioned two MS-DOS FTGs made by indie company 47-TEK, titled "Sento" and "Creep Clash". Compared to these, most of the others are masterpieces. ;D Here's intro for Sento. I couldn't even watch it till the end, since it's such an abomination and, as I remember, the gameplay is like ten times worse, with only one attack button and unresponsive controls: Creep Clash @ Home of the Underdogs(There was a video of it on youtube, but I couldn't find it.) Thanks to these 2, I can very much appreciate many games that most players consider bad.

They might have to decide that Liu Kang survived, otherwise we might have to put up with Shujinko. If they pull that out, I'm quitting Mortal Kombat forever. Seriously that ending was...unusual and dare I say, surprisingly violent. But Mortal Kombat does have time travel and elder gods so maybe it all gets reversed or something for MK10. __ Thrill Kill is definitely underrated, it's not easy being a 4 player fighter and it's one of the better attempts. WuKong does it even better but lacks the bizarre hell characters to its detriment. And if you really plan to make this a community list of Kusoge fighters you really should remove OMF2097, apparently you haven't played it or bothered to learn enough about it to care, but I'm fairly sure you're outnumbered here by people that actually do like it. The video you were showing off is also of the weakest robot in the game fighting a mirror match...

Pretty Fighter for the SFC is pretty awful too. There's a sequel on the Saturn too. Wow, that's some shoddy animation.

^ Yeah, I think it was slightly better than the SFC one. Still really bad though.

Hey, just for clarification, when we're talking the Mortal Kombat series, we're all talking everything between 4 and MKvsDC, right? :V Just making sure, here. No, I'm talking everything before Deadly Alliance. From then on, the series turned out just mediocre. Haven't played MKvsDC and the new one, though. 2D Mortal Kombat, though, I haven't played much worse. And I've played half of the games in the original post. One Must Fall is leagues ahead.

I looked some stuff up and found out that a lot of people really love Thrill Kill. I had never actually played it, I just knew it had a bad reputation, one that it apparently did not deserve. I apologize for angering or upsetting anyone.

If you liked the first 3 Mortal Kombat at all, then you should give the new one a try. Some people may like MKvsDCU though i didn't care for it much. The T rating and the lame story kinda take away too much for me to enjoy it for very long.

Body Blows on the Amiga COULD be mentioned but I think it is more a dated SF2 clone than actual kusoge.

I'd be half tempted to nominate Street Smart. Sure, it looked decent, but the whole "Your character moves and/or spins forward halfway across the screen to throw a simple punch or kick" Makes it a bit of a blown concept.
Thankfully, SNK wised up when it was time for Fatal Fury.

Pretty Fighter for the SFC is pretty awful too. There's a sequel on the Saturn too. Wow, that's some shoddy animation. These don't look that bad. Certainly not much worse than the Ranma 1/2 fighters on the SFC, and I don't see those listed here.
