I'm sorry; I'm telling you. It's Mina-san no Okagesama Desu!, a mah-jong game for the Neo-Geo. Keep in mind mah-jong games aren't made for the usual gamer. They're usually adult games for the arcade centers. This is some type of (classic) Japanese adult humor.

This title screen is about the same as putting moai heads with eyeliner and lipstick in your game, and making them sneeze as their primary attack (see: Gourmet Sentai Barayarou, SFC).

I won't be sleeping for awhile. This proves I could never truely understand the Japanese culture.

The gameplay system for that one is so weird. And I don't mean the gourmet sentai part, either. I mean how the enemies being "stunned" is represented by them being upside down, and you can stand on them? Lots of moves and throws though which is cool. Catchy music as well (though it's no Iron Commando) and if the enemies weren't so repetitive I'd buy a real copy. Anyways the whole point of that mahjong game is you play against the ugliest people possible. It's not so great. www.neo-geo.com/reviews/neo-reviews/minasan/mahj-mno.htm

I think I'll never understand the point of 'joke reviews'.

I think I'll never understand the point of 'joke reviews'. My guess is that they combine something we enoy (discussion of video games) with something else we enjoy (laughter, ostensibly)

Anyways the whole point of that mahjong game is you play against the ugliest people possible. It's not so great. Ah... as opposed to the vast myriad of mahjong title where you play against gorgeous women who eventually bare it all if you do well. I... guess it's original in that aspect, but at its heart, it's still mahjong, which I will never figure out how the crap to play. That, and... yeah, it's high on the disturbing factor.

I guess I should be scared that I know the game from the title screen alone, as well
