Riot. Anyone played this arcade game?
It's a pretty cool shmup in the vein of Nam 1975 and Sunset Riders, enemies appear in the background and foreground. It has nice and tight controls with an old school feel that made me like the game a lot.
The music is pretty cool too, especially the ending song.
If you liked Mega Man 2 and Act Raiser 2's semi-depressing ending you're gonna love this one too.

Man, I love Sunset Riders. To the point where last Halloween I went as Cormano, which went over about as well as one would expect.

I checked the game out a bit recently. It's tough with the unique dual-perspective thing going on.
The intro is totally awesome.
Still need to beat it. I bet the ending isn't as depressing as Spinal Breakers' is, though!

It's not so much depressing as it is sad.

Ok I just played Spinal Breaker. You found the ending to be depressing because you got the bad ending, try getting the good one *EDIT* Game has 3 endigns: bad: his family turns into the zombies type thing normal: he escapes with his family but he turns into one of the things good: he escapes with family and everyone is safe.

Oh, wow! This is why I need to get a Supergun.
But man, you just made my day. I had thought there was only one ending. ;D
