I'm tried of going on Forums/News sites blah blah to hear people complain about how Some game broke their 360.
Assuming there are 360 owners here, Who has really had problems with them?
Everyone I know that has one has had no problem at all.

I'm wondering the same thing myself, as I was planning on getting a 360 in the future (because Dead Rising sounds too awesome to pass up).

You can't belive everything you hear on the internet either, My guess is these people with "Defective" 360s are either sony fanboys, or people that write viruses for Windows.

It's a bit of both. There are people that even believe there was a recall on the 360 even though that's totally bogus.
System for system, I believe the 360 actually had the most functional hardware of any recent console launch (I had numbers to back this up at one point, I should look into it again) next to the Gamecube.

Prey crashed on me once, though I think that was the game.
Dead Rising did freeze on me twice. At various loading screen (different places) it would eventually bomb out and say it couldn't read the disc. I dunno if it's the 360 or the game. I keep meaning to try it out some more or at least exchange it.
Still, I've heard people saying that certain games are completely destroying their Boxes. Definitely haven't had that problem.

Well we all hear about Thompson drives on the orignal xbox, I have a Thompson and my near Launch XBOX is fine.
But yeah I wonder if these are Sony Fanboys or just the same 4 people under 60 different Screen names

The first Xbox I got died within three weeks. But it was a used console. I've had even worse luck with used PS2s.

Even now the PS2 has like a forty percent defective rate or something insane like that.
Certain games are not destroying people's XBoxes though. Every time a new game comes out, everyone that owns a 360 buys it, one or two people have problems (most likely because they're marathoning through the game/leaving the 360 on at all times without it being properly ventilated) and suddenly it's all over all the forums that ______ game will kill your 360.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that system defects are usually exaggerated.
I think back to most consoles' launch days. The PS2's "Disc Read Errors" - I've never actually seen one of them in person, and I dare say I've seen at least 50 different PS2's (a few of which were launch systems). The GBA had it's "ridiculously low battery life when playing Tony Hawk 2" issue - when in reality it was just that they were using crappy batteries. The Dreamcast supposedly made too much noise and eventually started making very loud clicking noises during disc reads. I've only seen that once (on a pre-launch rental DC system with a physically damaged disc).
The DS had its screen scratches. The PSP had its dead pixels. The DS Lite had hinge cracks. And yet, I've never seen any of that happen before despite seeing countless numbers of each system.

No 360 I've played seems capable of running Panzer Dragoon Orta. That's a huge fucking problem in my book

According to Wikipedia: the original PS2 had a defective lens that absorbed HEAPS of dust over time, eventually damaging itself.

Man Orta is an awesome game.......PLEASE SEGA MAKE A Panzer Dragoon for 360 or bring Saga to XBLA
My PSP with in days of getting it had 2 stuck (not dead) Pixels. I didn't bother to return it because I heard you can fix those. They're not a huge problem and depending on the room played in and setting they're hardly noticeable they only show up on black screens and in Mavrick Hunter X (if you look for them)
If I get a PS2 Should I get a Slim PS2? and can I do swap discs with the Slim PS2?

Really long jap name: Yes, get a slimline PS2, not only is it less prone to break, but it also offers a very easy way to swap discs. Only thing you need is a little patience, and a thing I recommend called the SwapMagic set, it's supposed to have two discs, a DVD and a CD, along with three rubber thingeys which disable the PS2's "open" detection.
