I'm looking for something of the Wacky Japanese Variety I talked about this in another thread but it's in need of it's own.
Mostly I'm looking for quality import only PSP Games that will probably never be localized. Keep in mind I'm Japanese Illiterate I can read yes and no on a save screen and the Fire Pro D menus but that's it.
My Gamecube is in need of more import love as most of it's imports consist of Games with nar and uto in the title (and I have Shikigami no shirto 2 and bomberman land 2)
GBA wise I just have Kuru Kuru Kurrin and that Gundam Seed fighter

GBA: Rhythm Tengoku (I'm not sure if this is coming to the US or not, but it's a good game - though you're going to have trouble on the third song if you can't understand Japanese that well)

The GBA, DS and PSP aren't region encoded either

Well, for the GC there's always the Adventure Island remake and DreamMix TV if you want a Smash clone.

I heart that game so much... so groovy and addicting! But then, it is by the same team responsible for Warioware Inc./Made In Wario. I hope it comes out to the states... here's hoping! Speaking of wacky-ass rhythm games for portables, I've heard nothing but good about "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!" for the DS. Haven't played it meself, though. It's apparently going to be localized as Elite Beat Agents for the US, but it seems like a lot of the Japanese flavor of the original version will be lost in translation.

If you can find the Bonk's Adventure remake for the GC, it's awesome.
Giftpia is also good, but it'll be hard to play without Japanese knowledge.
Finally, Doshin the Giant is a great game... you can import the European one which is in English obviously.
Gegege no Kitarou is a good GBA game. Quite a bit like the latter Castlevania games.
As for the PSP, you can get the Super Robot Wars game. It will never come out here due to licensing and is fun even if you can't read the story.

Nintendo Puzzle Collection for the GC is sweet. I recently picked it off of Play-Asia. It has Doctor Mario, Yoshi's Cookie, and Panel de Pon (in the US this was released as Tetris Attack for the SNES and Pokemon Puzzle Leage on the N64). It's worth the money just to be able to play 4-Player Panel de Pon. It's so good. I imported Chaos Field, too, before it came to the US and I was disappointed so I would stay away from that one or at least find a cheap US copy. It was the first 2D shooter that made me want to eat the disk and burn the waste after I digested it.

Shikigami no Shiro 2 is great by the way but I recommend buying the US PS2 version (Castle Shikigami 2) just to hear the incomprehesible story and awful dialogue for laughs. The game itself is great but the localization has that B-Movie charm I love so much. It was so entertaining!

It's great! One of the better rhytmn games I've played, though a bit hard at times. I would really love to play this in English. Looks like it was released last month in Japan, so there's a chance for that.

I would recommend the Japanese GC version of Sonic Gems. Not only do you get the superior original music on Sonic CD, but it has the 3 Bare Knuckle games in their original unaltered form. SOA really f'ed up Streets of Rage 3 so it is nice to have the option.
Any of the Hudson remakes are a great choice. I only have Star Soldier, but have played them all. As mentioned before, Bonk is especially good.
I originally modded my platinum GC because I wanted a matching GBA Player. Much nicer than basic black.
For the PSP I picked up Initial D Street Stage. It is a very good port and worth it for any fan of touge racing.

Yeah I nabbed the Japanese SOnic Gems and after hearing the shitty US music for Sonic CD Im glad I did I wish I had gotten a Platnium GBA player now.......

Off topic, but somebody on the Shmups forums actually retranslated the dialogue for Shikigami 2. You might want to drop by there and take a look at it.
