Any other pinball players here? Video games or tables.
I am a huge fan of Steve Ritchie and Pat Lawlor. As far as pinball video games I like Pin*bot and High Speed for nes; Super Pinball, Super Pinball 2 and Battle Pinball for snes/sfc; and Hardcore Pinball and Pinball Advance for gba.

I think my all time favorite pinball machine would have to go to the South Park on. The Simpsons one isn't bad either, and I'm going have to say that Starship Troopers is hilarious as well.

For video game pinball my favories are Gallactic Pinball (Virtual Boy), Pokemon Pinball (Game Boy Color), Pinbot (NES), Devil's Crush and Alien Crush (T16), Metroid Prime Pinball (DS), and Flipnic (PS2). With real tables I like Pinbot, Funhouse, South Park, Simpsons, Super Mario World, Star Trek the Next Generation, and the Return of Mars 3D. Also, did anyone else remember a huge table that was like twice the size of a normal one and used a pool cue instead of a regular ball. I believe it was called Hercules. I remember playing it as a little kid and not being able to reach both flipper buttons!

21st Century's pinball games are among the best ever - Pinball Dreams, Pinball Fantasies, and Pinball Illusions. The Amiga versions are the best, though the SNES version of Pinball Dreams was quite faithful.
I also love Electronic Arts' Virtual Pinball for the Genesis, just for the fact that it has a table editor.
If I happen to want something a little more modern, Empire Interactive's ProPinball series is excellent - The Web, Timeshock, Big Race USA, and one other that has slipped my mind at the moment.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day pinball for me. As far as video pinball goes I've really taken a liking to the Super Famicom iteration of Devil's Crush. It's focused on eastern mythology (lots of oni and ogres instead of sorcerers and western type demons) but is quite awesome. Pure Pinball on the XBox is quite good even if the cover makes me want to vomit.

Anybody have any clue how PinMAME installs or operates? I have never been able to get that thing operational.
