I dunno about you guys, but I've always pronounced all the Vs in VVVVVV.
"Hey, so have you played [imitates buzzsaw] yet?"

I always loved VVVVVV's name. It looks like ceiling spikes and it looks a lot better than WWWWWW. My only problem with it is that it's hard to say.
I thought of another character with a bad name. President Brat from Twin Hawk. He never actually appears in the game, but he's in the story. Oh, he's a good guy too, despite being named after a misbehaving child.

I've bitched about it before, but "Epic Mickey." It sounds pretentious, and also sounds like a slang term for doing a naked backflip off a moving vehicle and landing dick first in your partner's eyesocket. Also they're a midget.

It really feels like an artifact of the concept art...that the game ultimately looked nothing like.

I have heard many awful names for videogames but unfortunately the only ones I can recall are these ones that have been already mentioned by other people here: - VVVVVV: Wow! It sounds so stupit. Just imagine saying that to other people - Hey man, I played VVVVVV. - VVVVVV what? - Just VVVVVVV. Ok. If I ever make a game I will name it WRYYYYYYYYY! - Metal Gear Solid: It's one of the biggest proofs how much japanese people love to combine random, english words together with no meaning just because they sound so cooooooool. Some names from this list ( www.gamerevolution.com/features/worst_game_names ) which I agree they are very awful: - Beyond the Beyond: (Mimicing Buzz Lightyear's voice) To the beyond and beyooooooooond! - Sticky Balls: So many comments come to my mind! - Divine Divinity: Why name it just Divine Divinity and not Divide the Divited Divity which if you Divite it with...(ok, this could last forever) - Totally Rad: This title can't get more generic. - If It Moves, Shoot It!Now as about Epic Mickey: thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=epicHowever I like Kirby's Epic Yarn as a title. It makes a great confrontation with the cuteness overdoze of this game. Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. It's like, every possible bad fantasy title cliche in the book, they put in there. For me it sounds more like a cheezy fanfiction from a 15years old weaboo at deviantart.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Okay, Japan. Considering the wacky story, the name actually fits really well.

You know, on the subject of Epic Mickey, let me throw in The Power of Two and The Power of Illusion.

Ehh, Power of Illusion is one I can get behind, since it's both a tie-in for Power of Two and a pseudo-sequel to the Castle of Illusion and World of Illusion games. I kinda like how they blended the two titles.

Epic Mickey sounds even worse in Ireland because it's a slang term for a big dick.

Power of Illusion makes me think of that Clive Barker movie Lord of Illusion.

Speaking of the Illusion games, they called the series in Japan "I love Mickey Mouse", its sequel World of Illusion "I love Mickey and Donald", doesn't really sound too fitting. The subtitles are.
