Anyone remember Namco's NegCon? For those who don't know, it was a really accurate controller for the PSOne, the main attraction was that four of its buttons were pressure-sensitive and the slider that actually measured how you twisted the controller. This was a really good thing for WipeOut and Ace Combat 1 & 2, as with WipeOut you had sensitive acceleration and deceleration along with REALLY sensitive turning, Ace Combat benefitted also because most versatility in that game was achieved with the Expert scheme's custom tilt thing and the NegCon's slider allowed the player even more versatility and precision in turning. One thing though, Xevious 3D/G had a little hidden feature with the NegCon, you could tilt the Solvalou with the controller's slider, although it didn't really influence the gameplay very much.
Anyone else got an old wierd controller in their collection?

I had a Nintendo R.O.B.
That was weird enough.

I'm a sucker for gimmick peripherals, but most of the stuff I have isn't that strange at all. I've got two GunCon 2 controllers (I once had a third, but I lent it to my brother along with my copy of Time Crisis 2) and a Pelican dance pad. I also tried playing Doom with the Guitar Hero controller.

Well I'll never be too ashamed to bring up the powerglove I have the PS2 Onimusha 'Soul Katana' controller- only set the thing up once, but yeah, its a big stupid sword controller... The PS1 Resident Evil controller, shaped like a gun was fairly stupid too- and more or less useless to play with :\
