I have one of these. The X and O buttons are in the back. I have one too, but can't help but always think that it would have been way better with an analog stick. I think there is a PS2 version with the analog and the age of this one makes it out of the question, but it would have been cool. There is also a SNES version that looks like the right side of the Super Famicom pad. I love novelty controllers as display pieces. I got the Katana for $30 new when the price dropped and it looks awesome on my top shelf. The Slime Controller is a nice display piece too. Personal favorite is the NeGcon. One of the most unique and rewarding novelty experiences. As for non-control devices, the SMS 3D glasses are the greatest. The games are very dated now, but the 3D effect is something anyone who loves games should experience. Is this the one desighned for people with one hand? And can you play well with it?

I don't know if it's designed for people with one hand. It's supposed to be designed so you can play RPGs and still have one hand free, since those games are menu/turn based (I bought it to play FF7 when it came out, too bad no one ever told me that game has so many mini games that require more than just X and O). You use your thumb to move the Dpad but while you're moving it you really can't press any of the other face buttons. It would have been better if more buttons were on the back or side so that you can use all five fingers.

You would have wept with shame at the amount of Tomb Raider jokes made about that controller in the UK Playstation magazines :\

Augh! But those graphics are so muddy. Then there was the shoddy gameplay :\ I don't even want to talk about how much Lara Croft sucked as a character- I thought it then and I still do now (Though I found the first game and the latest one pretty ok)

This controller is pretty weird I want to get it though. It seems like it would inspire me to beat more early ps1 rpgs lol. Repost much? It's already been mentioned, try reading through the topic before posting! Anyway, that Glip thing looks like fun, but I really don't like people calling the NeGcon a novelty controller. It really enhances gameplay I tell you!

Only comment I can think of is Calm Lands. Seriously, that area was so unnecessarily big that I'd wanna have something like chips in my hand if I were walking around that area.
