I started a topic like this a while back at J-fan, but it didn't really go anywhere. I imagine this will fly better here, and maybe people will volunteer to write some of these.
Anyway, I think articles on the Cotton, Bonk, and Jumping Flash games would be good, and I agree with emilio that Kiki KaiKai also deserves a look.

I like those suggestions, especially Bonk. I just want a Bonk article for Air Zonk alone. ;D An article on Rastan sounds like a plan... or perhaps Waku Waku 7.

Hmmm...I might do an article on Ghost Pilots for the Neo Geo AES. I would also like to see one on Sonic Wings as well.

COTTON YES.
Some dude e-mailed me a few weeks ago with like a ton of excellent suggestions, and Cotton was one of them. I actually have Cotton Boomerang and Rainbow Cotton floating in the mail system somewhere, just need to grab Cotton 2 and I think I'm set. I know they're emulated on MAME and the Saturn emulator, but while they're good for screenshots, they run too slowly to actually play.
Same guy suggested the "wacky Sunsoft fighters" trilogy - Galaxy Fight, Waku Waku 7 and Astra Superstars. Waku Waku 7 rules, but I've never played Galaxy Fight and Astra Superstars is stupidly expensive on eBay (and not emulated right either.)
I have Jumping Flash 1 and 2 and I think the ISO for the third game around here somewhere. Sucks the series never went anywhere - other than those dumb dungeon levels, it's a really fun game.
Bonk is one of those games, like Adventure Island, I never got around to doing because I still need to order the PS2 remakes of them. I heard they were decent though.
After I get Startropics up, I think I'm gonna do quickies for Cyber Lip and Hagane. I started one for Nectaris a little awhile ago but dropped if off temporarily. I also started one for the Goonies games.
I have a whole big "to do" list, I'll see about posting it later and maybe stickying it.

I've got both the US-released Jumping Flash games...I recall there was a third one in japan, but it was kind of an RPG-type game. I haven't head much else about that one...
How about Intelligent Qube for the Playstation? I own that one personally and love it to death. Great soundtrack, too.
Also, maybe Sierra's "Dr. Brain" series ought to get a mention. They're really good edutainment games, and I think that Sierra is still selling at least one of them.
Or maybe Access Software's Tex Murphy series (Mean Streets, Martian Memorandum, Under a Killing Moon, Pandora Directive, and Overseer).

We definitely need a cute-em-up article in Cotton, even though Parodius might technically qualify as one. I am reminded of Magical Chase for the TG16, which I can best describe as the well-nourished child of Cotton and Ordyne. And for yet another CEU with witches and/or wizards on broomsticks, try Mystic Riders by Irem. Maybe you can somehow link all of those games in the same article? I think that FPS games are a bit underrepresented on this board, even if Japan does frown on them. But for pure fun, I think an article on Blood and Blood II would be in order. Haven't played the second one, but the first one is a literal blast.

I think I once said Live a Live in an E-mail or something, if I didn't have Video Game Trivia to do I'd help write it or something, I love the game to high heaven.
I'd say Super Robot Wars, but as Discoalucard told me once, too damn many games. And I'd have to agree on that one. Maybe just a few of them?

I have both Jumping Flash! games and would be willing to do an article for them.
General Chaos, Jet Set Radio series, Sweet Home, and Haunting Starring Polterguy (which I am currently writing for the site) should have their own articles.

Oh, snap! Forgot one that Mr. Kurt likes a lot: System Shock. Never played it (I would like to, but I probably never will with XP here ), but I've heard nothing but innovative goodness of it. Although, I don't think he's as fond of SS2, but someone else can write about that.

I need to pop SS2 in again. I got frustrated with it at the time because I found the RPG elements too intrusive, but maybe I'd be more into it now.

Hah, a Cyber Lip article? That would be great. That game is disturbingly cool in so many ways.
I'll throw out a few random suggestions:
Dragon Spirit/Saber Druaga SNK NES games Momotarou Hydlide (you know you want to, hehe) Cameltry Fire Emblem Marvelous Wonder Project J Tail Concerto (well... it would make me happy :) ) Custom Robo King's Field (and you could throw Shadow Tower in there)

I second the SNK NES games.
Crystalis and Ikari Warriors are two of my favorite NES games of all time

The Kururin series, two games on the GBA, one on the Gamecube. Avoid the obstacle games
Or the Wetrix series. It's Tetris, with water, and, uh... Most people should have played it, the Nintendo 64 version was somewhat popular.
