I ordered mine yesterday, and much like the last game, I can't wait for it to reach my doorstep.

Maggey Byrde? Like a Magpie bird? *coughs*
And yeah, I ordered mine a few days ago. I'm *really* looking forward to it.

Croik's site (http://www.croik.com/PW/) has all of the English names up, so I stole them and added them to the article, as well as fixing up stuff here and there. Tommy the Clown is named Moe, with his real name being Lawrence Curls - hooray for Three Stooges references. I actually didn't know that a magpie was a symbol of bad luck either... Franziska is awesome is English. (Pardon the sucky quality, but this was the best I could capture.)

A bit younger and a bit less evil than I expected, but still rather fitting. I must say that I like almost all of the English names, though "Ini Miney" sounds kinda implausible for a name. Well, unless we're talking about Ini Kamoze. Seriously, it's rather fitting alongside her sister, Mimi Miney. I just still think it's a bit of a stretch, but I'll get used to it. Besides, this isn't a series that's practical about everything. (Oh, and if they translated Fran's overuse of 'fool,' they have GOT to translate Godot's overly melodramatic lines as well.)

So Mei's dialogue was peppered with "bakas?"

I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to order this game! I ordered it from Play-Asia six days ago and received the game today. Just finished the first case and I'm already having great time with this game. Has anyone finished this yet? How did/do you like it?

Got distracted with other stuff. I'm in the middle of the third case, currently questioning Tommy/Moe. Other than the typos, the translation is just as good as the original, and there's a lot of funny lines. Overall I don't like the cases and characters as much though. Mei/Fransikza is cool at first but she's no Edgeworth.

The last case is awesome, and I'm surprised at how much more difficult the cases are compared to the last game.
edit: Oh, and exalt for the snickering Nick.

I'm starting to dislike Case 3. I've had to download an FAQ and pin it to my Start menu so that I have easy access to it, because I swear some of the stuff you're supposed to present in court is so obscure that I couldn't possibly figure it out by myself.

Yeah I needed to use a FAQ constantly when i was playing the Japanese version - and when it came to some of the final solutions, I thought, there's no way in hell I could've figured that out. Some of it's just way too bizarre and even seemed halfway nonsensical.
And as noted in the article, I hate that you get penalized for pressing Moe on certain parts.

Yeah, nothing like instantly failing the case if you press him and he talks about Mexican food.
Also, I'm glad I'm not the only person that had to use an FAQ a few times.

It sounds like the testimonies are much more painful in the first game... and considering how fiery Lotta and Angel had me with their final testimonies, I imagine this won't be none too delightful. I'm still waiting patiently for the American release, which should be less than two months by my count.

Okay, I just beat the game. Took about 5 days of intense gaming. All in all, a great sequel for a great game, but not quite as good as the last one (the third case was kinda lame, so were couple of characters). Compared to the last game, this was a lot more challenging, which is a good thing in my book, since I found the last game being rather easy. There was only one spot in the game (4th case) when I had to actually look for help from a FAQ. Can't wait for the next game in English.

Yeah, the only thing I can really hold against the new one is the music. Some of the songs are really good, but the majority are below the standards set by the first game.
