I can personally reccomend both bomberman games as they kick so much ass.

I thoroughly enjoyed Hybrid Heaven. I've played through it three or four times on all difficulties. Let's get the negatives out of the way first. One, it takes place underground, so you'll see plenty of greys and browns. Two, when not in combat, you'll have to destroy laser turrets and other simple robots with a little pea shooter. That just works itself out to finding just the right angle to shoot them around a corner. Three, the game is about two "chapters" too long, and drags a bit.
But other than that I love the game. The battle system is neat. You and the enemy are one on one in the room. You avoid and dodge the enemy until your attack meter fills. When you attack or are going to be attacked, a menu pops up and freezes everything. Then you can choose your appropriate attack or dodge or counter attack, although the latter rarely seems to work. Damage can be lowered or avoided depending on how exactly the attack executes as position is important. Attack and defence are individually leveled for each limb and your head by hitting with or getting hit the location. New attacks are learned by experiencing them firsthand. A nice variety of Grapples and floor moves are also available. And for tight battles one can employ several kinds of single use guns and bombs. Once you get used to the flow of things I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

If I may BUMP and ask opinions of Gitaroo Man? I've heard lots of good about it... and dammit, I swear I had another game I wanted to ask about, but it's not coming to me.

I just bought Gitaroo Man a week ago, and it's awesome! It's HARD and unforgiving, sadistic even, but oh so addictive and it has some of the greatest J-pop I've ever herd. It's a long time since I've had so much fun sucking at a game, and you should buy it so you can suck too!

Sorry to be such a pest, but I am just so behind on soooooo many titles. I have two more: Nightmare in Dreamland and the Amazing Mirror, both of the Kirby GBA games. All I know about NiD is that it's a remake of Kirby's Adventure, and I know even less about the Amazing Mirror, except that it involves more than one Kirby. Who can elaborate on the two?

Kirby in the Amazing Mirror is more like a Metroid/Castlevania type game... it's one big mazey level you'll be going back and forth in. I personally found it to be really dull... the level design is pretty boring.

I personally found it to be really dull... the level design is pretty boring. ... really? I never knew that! I thought that it was structured more like Kirby's Dreamland 3 for some reason... And now, an odd one: Excitebike 64. I'm generally not one for racers, but the original EB is a childhood classic of mine, and I've heard good about E64 back in the N64 era. Who can comment on that? Also, I may have mentioned them before, but I'd like to know about the two Zelda games that I spaced out on: Four Swords and the Minish Cap. I don't know too much about FS, except that it was released on the GBA and GC. I haven't heard the most positive of reviews for the MC, but it is enterprising to me regardless.
