Ha using that for a couple of days!
Until I get caught in an argument. But, I've been doing pretty good. So I think I've earned this.

I wasnt arguing about the punctuation i jus dont want him editing my posts if im not breaking rules And I informed you with an easy, two-click way to avoid it. In the meantime, I will continue editing your posts whenever I deem it necessary. Also consider yourself officially warned. Not for omitting punctuation, but for being an ass about it and publicly disputing a moderator's actions. Which IS against the rules. Also you've got a new, unique title. Feeling special yet?

EDIT: Having read the thread, I can see that they're biggest issue (my interpretation) is that either we have too much of shift in quality because of the various writers. Or we are a bunch of a stuck up dickheads who won't fix our mistakes. Oh and all the same we're really dumb for using the name Hardcore. Which I'm aware is what Kurt said. We actually do fix our mistakes though, once we're aware of them! It's not like we plug our ears and yell down at the plebeians who dare speaketh against us, we strive for accuracy, but we're just humans. The gist is, like a lot of things, they're more annoyed that they want the site to be something different than it is.

And you and whoever the hell else works on this site does great work. And I hope many years down the road we do stand as a archive of gaming long gone. And editorializing, while limiting it is best, actually has a place in history. Also I want a title!

'The forever Legend of Dragoon fanboy'? Yeah, that'll do. Or The Patron Saint of the Mediocre. But, that I believe was a My Chemical Romance lyric so, we'll go with the first one.

That comes off more as chosen thing. I think a title should be given. So the first one works better. Of course LoD4Life probably fits better.

As a member of shmups forum I saw this thread months ago when it was first started but I never bothered reading it for obvious reasons (expect from the OP post). And now that I gave a quick look at some of the replies I realised that I was right.

Not really being a hardcore shmupper, my favorite subforum over there is the hardware forum. Which is all about obscure arcade boards, arcade cabs, superguns and things.

Yeah, the forum itself is pretty useful! Some of the guys there are pretty cool. Bulletmagnet, one of the mods, contributed a couple articles to the site, including Deathsmiles and Shadow Hearts. It's a good resource to learn the mechanics of some of the more in-depth shooters because there don't seem to be any FAQs otherwise for a lot of them. So it's not like I hate the forum blanketly or anything, it's more like a few miscreants who are all like THEY SAID A GAME IS HARD WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!

Yeah, overall the shmups forum is a good and handy place However there seems to be a vocal chunk that derides anything that isn't a game that's based on maximum difficulty with a scoring mechanic required to survive

Putting aside the elitism of few members it's a great community for shmup.
