That's one place to combat every other article i've seen with lines longer then godamned mainstreet in my town.
I know three places within driving distance of my house that have lines longer then the entirety of the highschool.

This is excatly the same felling when XBOX360 came out last year. I didnt think it was worth it but now 1 year later its starting to muscle out some promising next gen titles. Give the PS3 a year and I'm sure the software will start to impress.

That reminds me. Don't you guys think that your hand's will get tired extra quick if you are constantly holding the wii remote/nunchuck in front of you, waving it like a maniac? I had this nightmare the other night that it made everybody sick of it, and with the Xbox360's arguable uninterestingness and the PS3 insane price and screw-ups, we had another Video game crash. Here's hoping I'm not psychic (just an @sshole )

Well it looks like the launch title for PS3 is Resistance Fall of Man. The game got a 9.1 at IGN.

I think this article just made my day, totally hilarious in all its absurdity, and about the x360 people weren't interested as much for various reasons but the PS3 is looking pretty poor right now just in terms of what it does comperatively and now that x360 is now firmly entrenchened in the industry it's like the PS2 vs Xbox but in reverse.

So let me get this straight:
Poor Chinese immigrants/students are paid to stand in line to get PS3's so that their "employers" can sell them on ebay. Did I read that right?
I bet there are going to be people paying homeless people doing that here to on Friday.
EDIT: I just did a search for "Japanese PS3" on ebay....do those bids (though initial and most end in 2-3 days) seem a little low?

Wow, how very interesting. Really well written article, too. It sounds even worse than US launches...definitely, things sound be changed, but I don't know how or if it's going to happen, considering how Sony is still making money off of this.
I'd love to see how the North American launch goes over, at least in comparison to what this article said about the Japanese launch.
