I love the part where he was playing Ninja Warriors on his setup. So awesome...

Not surprising that the guy is a big fan of arcade games. That "play until you master it" design philosophy in arcade games is almost always a major part of Kamiya's own games.
Which is something I approve of! Kamiya is an amazing game designer.

Wonderful 101 was kind of a limp dud, though. I think Kamiya needed to have eased off on the "OMG SO EPIC AND CINEMATIC" crap, cut out most or all of the gimmick variety segments (they managed to be even worse than Bayo 1's), and reduce the number of characters onscreen so the framerate drops aren't so disabling. The Prince Vorkken fights in particular end up playing out in stuttery slow motion, because he has his own crew of minions and the system can't handle 150+ relatively detailed little guys running around. Also, many of the enemies and bosses are way too easy to stunlock.

Not really interested in seeing this guy elevated to celebrity status among the gaming community after witnessing how he treats his fans on Twitter. The guy's a total dick.
-edit-
Just watched the video, and it's actually rather encouraging to see what a true fan he is of games. He seems to have a deep appreciation for the history of the medium, which means a lot.

Not any one thing, he just acts like a prick. Given how great his games have been, he has a lot of fans. Fans who haven't been following his Twitter since day one and don't know that certain questions have been asked already. So they ask him stuff about RE2, Okami, DMC, Bayonetta, etc, and he throws a hissy fit. He spends his entire day (I shit you not) posting pissy little replies to his fans saying stuff like "Already answered" and trying to publicly shame anyone who had the audacity to be a fan of his work.
Instead of wasting his time and everyone else's by replying to stuff that he feels has already been addressed, he could just ignore those questions and accept that it comes with the territory of being a somewhat well-known figure in the industry. Heaven forbid anyone suggest that to him, either, though. He gets just as pissy about that, going so far as to make "your mother" cracks in response to anything he doesn't like.
The guy just comes across as a total shithead. Eventually, I just got fed up with his behavior and unfollowed him.

If it bothers him that much, maybe he should go through the trouble of creating a FAQ that gets linked on his Twitter.

He actually posts a link to a separate site at regular intervals so people can search the history of his Twitter profile and see what questions have already been asked. Who honestly gives a shit enough to do that, though? The average person is just going to say what they want to say. The onus is on him to just ignore it if he doesn't find it interesting.

Unlike Phil Fish, Kamiya has at least somewhat earned the right to be a prick online.

If you're going to act like a prick, it's pretty hypocritical to get upset when people treat you the same way.

also, much like him I have a blast and collect pcbs (only have 6 tho haha), so I was pretty excited to see the blast city cabs and that he's a shmups fan (twinbee playing in the background, big gradius and darius fan).

I keep trying to get back into W101 but I just get annoyed by not knowing what I'm doing half the time and give up. Bayonetta was way more my speed. Also don't really understand why Kamiya uses twitter considering how much it seems to raise his blood pressure.

I had no problem with TW101 having a steep learning curve. It's just that after I successfully passed that curve, the game didn't get any less annoying.
