I keep almost buying revelations for 3ds then I realize I'll probably just grab it on computer soon. The 3DS version is the best experience for me - I've demoed the HD version, it's not more beautiful. 3D is a real plus in a Resident Evil game, and Revelations is maybe the mst beautiful 3DS game. Technically it's pretty unbelievable. Revelations is so cheap on the e-shop it's like 15 bucks o there's that. The game is still fantastic without the CCP, and compatible with the new xl's clit. The CPP is usually cheap where available. Again, A Resi game in 3D is just perfect!Buy the 2nd chapter in HD.

I'll back up Kurtz here. Even without the 3D its incredible on the 3DS. Having the second screen for inventory and map purposes is great.

It's really too bad there aren't survival horror games coming out on the wii u, that tablet would be so great for inventory management

I just think it makes everything look jaggy and weird and sharp Yeah, because the sweet spot is so narrow. Hence the new 3DS. But I have to test it before I can be sure, but I'm optimistic this is the true reason to get a New.

But I have to test it before I can be sure, but I'm optimistic this is the true reason to get a New. I got a new but I've yet to use it thanks to a big deadline. Maybe tonight? I'm definitely looking forward to the enhanced viewing angle. The system itself looks a lot like the DS XL, and less like the 3DS XL. I kind of prefer the squareness of it, but I'm sad they went back to having a glossy (i.e., fingerprint-happy) finish on the system rather than the matte finish on the 3DS XL. Eh, whatever. For those of you who've been using theirs, how's the analog clit so far? The small size seems like it might be uncomfortable to use after a while.

So, speaking of Monster Hunter, which is the most beginner/single-player friendly?

So, speaking of Monster Hunter, which is the most beginner/single-player friendly? MH4U is very heavy on explaining how stuff works, MH3U have some tutorials but leave a lot of information out and the second gen are totally unfriendly and you have to work out almost every mechanic by yourself, I still remember grasping the concept of capturing a monster. Also MH4 have the closest thing to a plot and progression in the series with mh3 second. The only bad thing of playing MH4 it is being the superior game then it is going to be hard to get into 3, although it have its selling point of underwater mechanics and some unique monsters. For a beginer I always recomend to start with the sword and shield weapon for a couple fights and then moving to an advanced weapon once you get the feeling of what playstyle fits you. In MH4 there are tutorial missions for every single weapon with a guy telling you how the weapon works and how they expect the weapon to be used so you don't pick a greatsword and try to kill stuff by tapping buttons instead of landing brutal charge attacks.

So, speaking of Monster Hunter, which is the most beginner/single-player friendly? mH4 seems like a clear winner already. Most tutorials in the series. And yeah, no, you don't master MH3 in 30 hours, like, not at all. Plus MH4 is richer in every way. But both are great. And it's a bit soon to judge MH4 but really... It clearly looks like the winner. Richer, bigger, more progressive. And anyway, you must try one of them, because these games are so immersive, it's like being thrown into Nausicaa: The valley of the Wind. And Nausicaa will never age. It's so excellently japanese... Now, moreover, MH4 is online multiplayer. MH3 3DS is optimised for single player. But really, both are single-player friendly (you get cat-like AI to help you in both games. Frankly you should get 3 at a discount in the eshop, and get 4 later... Except we are all gonna play 4 now, so... Join us?

u can get to the final boss of solo mode in mh3u in 40 hours That's a baloney lie! It is. 60 at least if it's your first MH. Just the time it takes to gather primary resources, from herbs to monster bones, in order to combine them to create everything you need is 20 hours easily. Yes, you WILL spend 5 hours mining ores.... And it will be fun, because MonHun is a bonkers concept that works. So a deeply japanese masterpiece, then. Prepare your Miyazaki playlists, they will come in handy.
