Wait, so it's branded after Monster Hunter 4 but it DOESN'T come with the game? Wow. Bravo, Nintendo / Capcom. Might be because the MH4U n3DS XL came out in AU before the game MH4U game out. Although you would expect a bundle to pop up when the game is out.

I kind of want the Super NES Space Invaders game. I wonder how accurate to the arcade game it is, though? It's actually based on the arcade machine, Space Invaders Deluxe, so you have a bunch of choices for screen overlays or cellophane colors, plus an interesting two player versus mode. It is, however, missing the Parody mode with all the New Zealand Story sprites. But I'll let you in on a secret: if you have a Super Game Boy, get the original game boy version instead, because it actually has the SNES version embedded on the cartridge. It's awesome.

The only thing the gb version lacks is a 2-player mode (like, even in SNES mode). That's something I'm not surprised about but it is disappointing

That does sound pretty intriguing! And convenient, since it'd be nice to play Space Invaders on the go.

Has there be one instance in which the "superior processing power" a game faster or more fluid? Maybe something with MH4? (Because 3DSXL + CPP is so much more ergonomic than the New's nub...)

Monster Hunter 4 has better texture and shadow resolution, but apart from that and slightly less slowdown, there isn't too much in it yet. Monster Hunter 4 runs very well on both versions of the hardware

Monster Hunter 4 runs very well on both versions of the hardware Well, for a game I'm gonna play for loooong hours, that's a good plus. My only remaining question is... Can you use the circle pad pro with the New 3DS? Because nothing is as ergonomic as that huge thing, and I prefer having a second circle pad to that nub. That's really the question that bothers me. Getting MH4 on its swiss release date, aka tomorrow friday. Playing MH3 to brush up... And terrified by how much I have forgotten! Damn it's still as difficult to master as ever! But the new areas in the MH4 demo are really beautiful! The mountain area in the easy demo is fantastic. More audacipus than MH3...

From what I've read, the New 3DS recognizes the nub as the CPP when you play games that utilize it.

From what I've read, the New 3DS recognizes the nub as the CPP when you play games that utilize it. Well... It does not considering the New 3DS offers all the buttons and "second" circle pad/c-stick from the Circle Pad Pro, and the New 3DS is also slightly larger than the originals, therefore they won't fit on the attachment. Older games that supported the Circle Pad Pro, like Resident Evil Revelations and Monster Hunter, will register the New 3DS as a 3DS with the Circle Pad Pro attached to it. Shit. The CPP is so much more ergonomic, espacially during long sessions, such as with MonHun. Seems I'll just buy MH4 for the moment, and we'll see.

After learning to use the monster lock feature in MH4 I barely use the clit to move the camera, pressing L to move quickly the camera towards the monster is so faster.
But I agree the N3DS is hell to hold for a long time.

Yeah, I also used it on the Wii U. I only ever use the right stick when moving around, but in combat, I use the lock on almost exclusively.

But I agree the N3DS is hell to hold for a long time. I must admit... "the clit" is right on the money, lol (that's what she said). But that's the problem. Soon will come a game with more intensive clit play (Ha! ha ha!), and that's when it's terribly imprecise nature and weird placement will make itself felt (Ha! Ha .. OK I stop now.) Would not want to play Nano Assault Ex with it. And the ergonomy problem is a fact of life for XL users. I already see lateral grips arriving, one even licensed by Monster Hunter's Capcom. So they now. So New 3DS+lateral grip add-on might just do it. Such as... The ergonomic problems of the 3/New3 are well recognized, at least in Japan. That's why the Circle Pad Pro always stays around my 3DSXL: as a grip. Even with all the games that don't need it. As a grip, the weight redistribution and bigger grip surface are a godsend for your hands; the whole feels somewhat like a GameGear, or a Lynx, and cramps and unease disappear. Indispensable for me.

monster lock on was in mh3u and it's way better than just a stick for the camera, I even used it on wii u Nano Asault, and especially Resident Révélations, are the only 2 games that really gain much from the right circle pad. But boy, does it make Révélations better to play! It's almost another game with it.
