The footage in that video? I don't get it. Anyway. Sounded pretty involved. Looking at the unrelated gameplay footage while hearing him describe the steps made me understand 0% of anything.

It's really not. I just did it myself. You just go to system transfer in the settings menu. Process took about 45 minutes to transfer everything. I transferred the stuff on my SD card via copy paste on my desktop though. You need a little Phillips screw driver to get the cover off the back of the N3DS. The 3DS describes in detail all the steps.

Finally got my MH4 Edition unit today, and I love it. The nub thing is decent, I'm liking it - it makes the Monster Hunter 4 Demo waaay better. I'm picking up the full game this week! The improved 3D is pretty amazing though. I'm actually playing with it on 99% of the time. A snappier interface cinches the deal for me. I'm glad I upgraded my unit. It's so puuuurty

Wait, so it's branded after Monster Hunter 4 but it DOESN'T come with the game? Wow. Bravo, Nintendo / Capcom.

Bogus! Australia certainly seems to be hated by game companies for some reason.

Yeah, for sure. Although we did get the New 3DS just after Japan, but yeah, that's the first thing in forever that wasn't delayed for us. That and we miss out on a lot of the cooler bundles you guys seem to get.

Yeah, there is that I suppose. I never had a SNES back then though, so I didn't really benefit from the release :-)

Yeah, they had it at the local rental store where I grew up. Never really understood why anyone would want to play Space Invaders in 1995, but maybe that version is actually really good?

Oh, I see. Well, europe didn't get it anyway so the only PAL release I know of is the australian one. So there! Australia is spoiled rotten! Though I got the info from a site that also claims that PAL Soul Blazer was only released in Germany and Scandinavia. I have never heard anything of the sort before. It's funny if it wasn't officially released in the UK cause even the swedish version is in english. Just.... lol

Well, the first Ar tonelico is English only, yet I've only ever seen it in the wild for France and Spain.
Regarding Space Invaders SNES... it's odd, because some sites do list an european release in 1997, while others claim there never was one (though a lot of those don't list an australian one either).
Oh yeah, the New 3DS. I'm fine with my regular one, thank you very much, pretty sure I can hold out for the next full generation, and who knows, maybe that one will be backwards compatible with the one or two N3DS games worth owning (if at that).

I kind of want the Super NES Space Invaders game. I wonder how accurate to the arcade game it is, though?

Dead in all territories, isn't it? The way I heard it, Sega's pulled out of consoles completely, both in America and Japan. Sega's still planning on releasing physical copies of Dengeki Bunko : Fighting Climax on Vita and PS3 in NA.
