I hear it's like a little rubber...nipple. And that it doesn't budge.
If it's used in a game for moving a camera around I don't think I'd mind.

So its like those little rubber things that laptops used to use? Moving a camera is one thing, but if its ever programmed to be used as a second analog it may feel really weird.

Saw one today. Nope, that thing won't fit in my pocket comfortably.

I probably need to buy a new PS3 someday pretty soon which is really annoying. My old phat one from 2007 is totally not working properly anymore but I'm trying to squeeze the last life out of it. I desperately need a bigger hard drive anyway because: YAKUZA 5! So maybe it's for the best.
But still.... Buying another PS3 when I really want a PS4 already, not to mention this N3DS someday later this year...It kinda sucks at this day and age.
Soooo, I guess a PS3 is my top priority now, not this. Which is unheard of in 2015. *sigh*

They cannot cancel it now. That would be.... I have no words. Luckily, it seems Sony is the reason this is even happening so I wouldn't worry too much about Sega. Besides, Sega must've already had a pretty good idea what was gonna happen to the company back when Y5 localization was announced in december. I bet they're determined to release it. After that, Yakuza is most likely dead in the west. R.I.P.

Dead in all territories, isn't it? The way I heard it, Sega's pulled out of consoles completely, both in America and Japan.

This month in europe psn plus the free game was Yakuza 4. That is sure to help Y5 sales.

That's good and all, but I think the timing and the method of bring Y5 to the west could've been better. It should've been physical and released a year ago. But we'll see.

But even then the translation is probably not more expensive than making a new game for Western markets, especially if they don't do dubbing

This thread is derailing because of me, sorry But just one more thing: I would be very surprised if Sega stopped releasing console Sonic games in the west anytime soon. Everything else is probably up in the air. Though I still don't understand what'll happen with Atlus. People keep saying I shouldn't worry, but..... I worry.

Some initial first impressions. All I've done so far with the system is transfer my data from the my regular XL but just by doing that I could see that the 3D on the N3DS is much improved. Really neat how the front camera makes adjustments for your head position. I can see myself actually using the 3D for extended periods now. The 3D on the older system was blurry from all but a certain angle but the new guy looked good from a much wider range. Wasn't sure it was on a couple times I looked at it which makes for a seamless experience.
Unsure of how the C-stick nub works as I've yet to play anything but it doesn't move like an analogue stick. Works like a track pad button on a laptop maybe? We now have two extra shoulder buttons (ZR and ZL). You unfortunately have to use a small screw driver to access the memory card. I bought a bigger micro SD card and an adapter to transfer the data off my old standard sized SD.
I like how the movement of the start and select buttons from beneath the touch screen and that the volume slider is sturdier and on the top screen now. I cannot count how many times I hit the slider on my old XL and lost sound or hurt my eardrums. I do not care for the shiny covers on the front and back of the system. Those just attract fingerprints. Prefer a matte finish.
Probably start Majora's Mask later this weekend and give the C-stick a whirl. Tempted to pick up MH4U based on reviews but I can never get into those games.
