Maybe say that upfront instead of duping people with a figure that's lower than what it really requires?

Can't we just lock Inafune, Itagaki, Ishiwatari, and every other egotistical J-Developer whose transliterated name would start with an "I" in a room together and only allow the last one out alive to start making games again?

I vote we lock SUDA 51 away for about two years and make him play Killer7, the first No More Heroes, and Flower Sun and Rain on repeat until he remembers what his good games were like.
Wait, what were we talking about?

I'd rather make Suda play the games he was mocking.

What's this about Ishiwatari being egotistical? Guy seems pretty laid-back in interviews and media appearances. I don't even find Inafune to be big-headed. He has opinions and starts up too many projects at once, but he's not any more boastful or aggressive than comparable Western developers. Itagaki, though...yeah.

Inafune is being obnoxious because he's in the indie scene now, and he doesn't seem to understand that and keeps doing bullshit AAA marketing shit while asking for more money for multiple projects. I'd call him big-headed because he thinks he can enter a different field and think he can do it perfectly without learning about it.

This oddly reminds me of how the prototype version of Legends 3 was set to come out, got delayed, and shortly after Capcom announced that they were not greenlighting the game.

Christ, now I'm SERIOUSLY thinking Inafune has a Midas touch---albeit the problem isn't so much him turning everything he touches to gold as it is him clumsily dropping the now-golden-and-thus-heavy object on his or someone else's toe.

Preview version of the Red Ash anime is out. It's unsubbed, but generally easy enough to follow. The footnotes aplenty are annoying, and Call in this take is also turning out a bit of a nuisance.

I doubt anyone is excited for this after the debacle that was Mighty No. 9. MN9 isn't even fully out yet. Some people are still waiting for the Nintendo DS/PS Vita versions.
