Being that I didn't dig through the "Claimed Article List" at all, I'm walking blind here, but I would definitely nominate:
Phantasy Star series, including Online and Universe (SMS, GG, MD/Genesis, Saturn, GBA, DC, GC, PS2, PC, XBOX [SEGA]). Gungage (PSX [Konami]) Love and Destroy (PSX [ARC Entertainment? Never heard of them, but GameFaqs seems to think they did some of the Arc the Lad series? Whatever...]) Elder Scrolls series [PC, XBOX [Bethesda]) *Actually, just about any Bethesda game is worth at least looking at. For instance, Call of Cthulhu. Touhou (PC [Shanghai Alice]) *Though this would be well dissected elsewhere, anyway. System Shock 1/2 (PC [Looking Glass]) Deus Ex 1(2? Bleh.) (PC [Ion])
Some of those would definitely be in progress already, so heh.
Well, as you can see, I have trouble separating "important" games from "games I think more people should play." So, uhm, yeah. I can help with some of these, I guess. Be it fact checking, or screen grabbing.

For anyone interested, here's the first topic from way back when: hg101.proboards92.com/index.cgi?board=games&action=display&thread=1142887264&page=1My suggestions: Planescape Torment (PC) - Incredibly underrated PC game with amazing dialogue. Wish I actually owned a copy. Jumping Flash! series (PSOne) - Sony and Exact's amazing platformer for the PSOne. Preceeded Mario 64 (I think) and was in First Person. Jumps are insane! Earthworm Jim series (various) - Amazing first two games, interesting yet sad N64 game. Music is quality and is one geniunely funny game. DarXide (32X) - Rarest 32X game only in Europe. Shows off capabilities of system in pushing it's limits. Gameplaywise, Asteriods in 3D. Zero Tolerance (Genesis) - FPS for the Genesis and it's actually pretty decent. Sequel was never released but a Beta exist. Both games are now considered freeware. The Ooze (Genesis) - Sega Technical Institute's most underrated game due to coming out so late in the Genesis's life. Great humor. Was included in Sonic Mega Collection Plus. The Red Star (PS2) - Akklaim game based off of the graphic novel of the same name. Was cancelled when Akklaim went bankrupt but was picked up. Awesome beat-em-up that hands you your ass. References to Contra and Ikuraga. Beggar Prince / Xin Qi Gai Wang Zi (Genesis) - Genesis RPG from Taiwan. Basically a retelling of The Prince and the Pauper. Commercially released by Super Fighter Team. Don't no much about it, but would know more if there was an article at HG101 ;D Road Rash series (various) - IMO, EA's best property. Racing game with motorcyles and lots of attitude, being able to violently attack other riders. Ported to a whole mess of consoles. This could be a big article I'd be willing to help. Ultimate Stuntman (NES) - Unlicensed NES game that incorporates a lot of gameplay elements and switches genres rapidly. Stupidly hard at times though. That's all I can think of right now. Also to comment on two suggestions already made: EXCITEBIKE This would definitely be interesting as it could shed some light on the Mario Excitebike games on the BS and have people see that Excitebike 64 is INCREDIBLE. Also, I guess Exitetruck would have to be mentioned with the name and all. You Don't Know Jack! Amazing gameshow game. Would love to see this. Interesting to point out the failed TV show with PeeWee Herman as host.

Damn, beat me to it. I was just about to suggest Jumping Flash as well. I'd LOVE to see an article on that one.

I'd like to see something on the ChoroQ series. Not too much documented in English, except for a lot of negative reviews.

Has anyone suggested Killer Instinct? You all remember Killer Instinct right? Its that fighting game with all the combos once thought to be... Coming to you home in 1995. Only on the Nintendo Ultra 64!!
I would also like to see an article on the Ridge Racer games. Probably my second favorite racing series after F-Zero with an arcade style gameplay and an emphasis on drifting. I love the music in (almost) all of the games. There are allot of them!

Wipeout would be the racing game I'd prefer to see an article on. But then, the only racing games I've ever really gotten into were Wipeout (1-3) and Outrun2.

The Capcom Five need an article (killer 7 has already been done). In particular PN03, very hardcore game. For information purposes I'd like to see a sakura wars one too.

You Don't Know Jack! Amazing gameshow game. Would love to see this. Interesting to point out the failed TV show with PeeWee Herman as host. I've always wanted to play the You Don't Know Jack games, but nevr had the chancel. I remember years and years ago, there used to be a PC/gaming show on the radio that I'd listen to at night, and right at the end of the show they'd get people to call in and use YDKJ questions for a little mini quiz. Hmmm....when I get some spare cash, I might have to start checking E-bay for a copy.

Umihara Kawase (SFC, PS) ~ However the hell it's spelled, this might be the most HG101-esque series that isn't already here. The original is also among the greatest damn games ever made. Onsei Kanjou Sokuteiki: Kokoro Scan (DS) ~ Bizarre Sega game for DS. How this game works: The built in mic on the DS will "analyze your voice to determine your mood and then do some sort of digital pop-psychology to tell you how you’re feeling." However, what really go me interested in this is its trailer. You have to see this shit for yourself. Takeshi no Chosenjo (FC) ~ A game made by comedian-turned-director-and-actor Takeshi Kitano. The point of the game is basically for it to be as horrible a experience to play as possible. Among other required taks throughout the game, you have to belt out karaoke for a straight hour, hold down a button on the controller for four straight hours, leave the game alone without doing a damn thing for a solid hour, make pixel perfect jumps, and hit the final boss 20000 times. Takeshi no Sengoku Fuuunko (FC) ~ Just look at this shit. Try to tell me this game does not NEED to be at HG101. EXCITEBIKE This would definitely be interesting as it could shed some light on the Mario Excitebike games on the BS Shit, I forgot about those. They aren't emulated, so there goes that idea.

Noone said Fallout series, and I've got the text file for an article on it lying around here, too. Then load it up! I wouldn't mind seeing articles on some older games. Here are some I find interesting: Microsurgeon (Intellivision, ti-99/4a) I really wanted to try this game through emulation, but could never get it to work. The screens that I've seen of it look awesome for the system it's on. Umihara Kawase (SFC, PS) ~ However the hell it's spelled, this might be the most HG101-esque series that isn't already here. The original is also among the greatest damn games ever made. Seconded! EXCITEBIKE This would definitely be interesting as it could shed some light on the Mario Excitebike games on the BS Shit, I forgot about those. They aren't emulated, so there goes that idea. Meh. Just a minor set back. You could just breifly talk about them and show a screen or two. I've seen some on TMK before. More suggestions: Warlocked (GBC) - RTS for the GBC. And it's a lot better than what you'd think for a tiny portable. Hilarious voice clips. Clash at Demonhead (NES) - Nearly open ended platformer that while sloppy is still a blast to play. practically can choose your own path.

YDKJ would be interesting to write an article about. I still have pretty much every copy of the game, well, except Volume 6. Shame a lot of them don't work with WinXP and I don't want to pay out the ass for the WinXP compatible versions.

Konami Krazy Racers (GBA) ~ Mario Kart clone with Konami characters. Itoi Shigesato no Bass Tsuri No. 1 (SFC, N64) ~ A game where you control the guy who made Earthbound, as he fishes. Really. Tamagotchi (whatever) ~ Really. There has to be a emulator for these out there somewhere, so why not? Cooking Mama (DS) ~ Awesome in digital baking form. Harvest Moon (multiple) ~ Probably the best damn farming/economic/other-crap sim ever. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan & Elite Beat Agents (DS) ~ Crazy rythym games. SNK Vs. Capcom - Card Fighters Clash (NGPC) ~ Somebody was writing this ages ago, but I guess they never finished. Shit, I forgot about those. They aren't emulated, so there goes that idea. Meh. Just a minor set back. You could just breifly talk about them and show a screen or two. I've seen some on TMK before. I haven't got Excitebike 64, and the screencapture thing is simply not happening. So, even if it's ok to leave out the BS games, I would still need somebody to take care of Excitebike 64. Are you interested? Excitetruck is another matter entirely. It's obviously a spiritual sequel, given the name, but it technically isn't part of the same series. I would leave it out, as long as that was deemed ok.

Harvest Moon (multiple) ~ Probably the best damn farming/economic/other-crap sim ever. One of the games in the series also has probably the best damn typo ever. Natume Natsume should proof-read their game s before releasing them. And I'm not just talking about Harvest Moon 64. There's also a sequel for Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan.
