I think it'd be an idea to pick up one of those cards with ram expasion so one could play Quake 2 on the DS. You have to buy the web browser to get that iirc. I'm not at home so I can't get up the page but I'm fairly sure you could get it running with just a DS storage device of some kind and the ram booster that goes in the GBA slot. Quake 1 DS supposedly works fine though..should try it.

The only one that I really like is Dementium, and that game can get annoying anyway.

Is it good though? I'm curious because if any of you have played on the Sega Genesis emulator for Dreamcast you should know the sound exsists, but it is very poor.

Yup, it's the only good Genesis/MD emulator on the DS. runs a lot of games perfectly. (only problems, water is a little messed up in Sonic 2 and 3, and Contra: Hard Corps is slow and the voices sound like old men trying to scream)

There's also SCUMMVM, which can emulate SCUMM-based point-and-click games, most notably the old Lucas Arts games. Woah woah woah... How well does this work on the DS? I have been craving those old games lately...

My brother says ScummVM works pretty well on his DS - even the big "talkie" games seemed to work pretty well.

If so provide a link please. You can get cards that are compatible with 8gig Micro SD cards now and support save states for DS games. I personally use M3 Real but shop around and you can get better and better cards now My brother says ScummVM works pretty well on his DS - even the big "talkie" games seemed to work pretty well. Yeah you can play the talkie games fine by and large- played through most of Indiana Jones and the FAte of Atlantis this way. Word of warning though- the interface is a little fiddly.

Since I got a new R4, I might as well bring this back with a big ass enchilada. There's an new emulator out for the DS, and it plays Neo Geo games (!) and it works like a dream (!!) groups.google.com/group/neodsThe only game I tried with this is Art of Fighting 2, and it worked perfectly. But the author said 95% of all Neo games work, with speed differences.
