I tried more games with NeoDS, and this is what I got myself:
Alpha Mission 2: Works perfect AoF: Works good Blazing Star; Runs a little slow Baseball Stars 2: Runs perfect, but it always thinks it has a memory card in it. Cyber-Lip: Runs perfect Fatal Fury Special: Runs good Galaxy Fight: Runs OK Garou: Runs slow, but not unplayably slow. Kizuna Encounter: Runs OK KoF 2002: Runs pretty good KoF 98: Runs OK KoF 2003: Runs OK Last Blade 2: Runs OK, but a little slow Last Resort: Runs perfect Magical Drop 3: Runs perfect Magician Lord: Runs perfect Metal Slug: Runs great with some slowdown with mass enemies on screen Puzzle de Pon!: Runs perfect, except the music don't play =/ Real Bout Fatal Fury Special: Runs great Samurai Shodown 5 Spec.: Runs PERFECT. Yeah, bitches. Super Dodge Ball '96: Runs great Shock Troopers: Runs great SvC Chaos: Runs great!
In other news, jEnesisDS (the Genesis emulator) is currently at 0.7.4 and fixed a lot of things. The creator's sister project, ApprenticeMinusDS (a SMS/GG emu), alrady blows DSMasterPlus out of the water.

What's the deal with NeoDS's resolution? Is it cropped?

What's the deal with NeoDS's resolution? Is it cropped? There are 2 screen options, one is normal (cropped, centered, pixel by pixel) or scaled (fit to screen).

May be, until you see the thing in action.

I'm loving DS homebrew and all the ports at the moment. I'm pretty late to the party though. But it's knocking my socks of being able to play Quake on the DS. DSQuake is awesome... but I've only just discovered cQuake, which runs better, looks better, and allows you to jump by double tapping on the screen with the stylus. However, the sensitivity for stylus look is way to low, even on the highest setting... hope this is remedied soon! And besides looking a little less solid than DSQuake, i'm still loving it! Emulation is great too... wish FrodoDS was faster though... Giana Sisters sucks at the minute... unless there's a later version that I'm not privvy to. jEnesisDS is fantastic... the speed is there, compatibility is ok, and the sound is decent. I really wish there were an option to scale to the screen though, borders be damned... I hate toggling between L/R scrolling though... for instance, I can't have it on while playing OutRun, but it's a necessity whilst playing a platformer. nesDS is great. Great great GREAT DScent, the port of one of my favourite PC games, Descent, is probably the greatest I have played yet, though. The controls are PERFECT, the sound is perfect and the graphics are jaw-dropping on the smaller screen. It's hard to believe that this isn't a professional production. If half the lazy bastards who are actually making retail products for the DS took note of this project, we'd all be better off. dsDoom isn't working for me, though... for some reason it just won't work. I can't wait till the cards are available so I can play these on my DSi... the DSlites' screen is hard to go back to. And now that the DSi has the 256meg inbuilt or whatever, perhaps this will enable all these endeavors to reach even greater heights... Colour me stupidly impressed... the DS has way more grunt than I would have ever expected.

Thanks! I just found out my ROMs were corrupted, that's why it wasn't working. LameBoy is not perfect, but it's the best one yet.

Yes, NeoDS rectifies the DS's lack of interesting fighting games quite sufficiently. I'm aware of Bleach, didn't care for it - supremely generic anime - although it's solid.

So I'm interested in jumping into here, and my friend will be lending me his Acekard 2 and I'm wondering what will work on there/any supreme advancements. What will/won't work on this Acekard 2 and if when the time comes that I buy my own... Well a couple things for that.
When I buy my own!
1. Should I wait to get a DSi to get a card for that? I might be getting a DSi so it is a concern. However, I might wait months/years/ever.
2. Is R4 still the in thing for this? Best thing to get?
Found this cheap from a friend "TopToy DSTT". Any good? It supports SDHC. I read a review and just got it. For 6 bucks it can't do any harm.
edit: So I guess this post is obsolete since I bought the TopToy anyways. I'd still like an update on the current state of things though.
