Might as well just reply that I've got this covered.

Might as well just reply that I've got this covered. Why I love this site, contained in a single sentence.

You're missing a version of Thunder Force I in the article. It was also released for the IBM JX Also, if anybody's curious, the Mongolian writing in the Thunder Force VI screenshot says "Giant perfect dragon"

Translated interview with Technosoft alumni Naosuke Arai about Thunder Force, taken from a longer feature about the 3DS Remaster. Also included are a short interview from '89 about the move from X68000 to Genesis, and a memorial to Technosoft president Tomio Ozono. shmuplations.com/thunderforceiii/

I'm so glad that Sega is re-releasing Thunder Force III as part of the Sega Classics 3D Collection. I was always curious as to how Twenty-One Company ended up giving all the Intellectual Property rights of all the Technosoft franchises to Sega?

Regarding TFV, I've noticed that the free range weapon is much less OP against bosses on PS1. For example the lvl 2/woods boss goes down before even doing its second move on SAT but gets to do a few on PS1 and the weapon also doesn't lock onto it as easily there. That's in the US PS1 version, so perhaps a change by working designs but it's for the better I think.
