Space Jam is the best movie ever made.
Also, yeah, I'm more into the 16 bit stuff. Castle of Illusion and Bonkers FTW.
Ugh, bad memory strikes again. I meant Magical Quest.

Haha! I took care of the PC/other ports section and I missed that one. I'll get right on it! EDIT: Yeah it's quite bad. Is there anything past the third scene? As you probably already found out the game is really short and loops the same three stages over and over again. At least that's how much I can remember. Haven't played the game for ages.

While that is true, why not use the vividly active thread only two lines below?

Whoops, it says it was released in 1991 on gamefaqs.com Thanks for the catch!

Well, believing Mobygames over Gamefaqs is like jumping from the frying pan to the fire. Just check the actual ROM.

Both the Japanese and American versions of the actual ROM have a "Copyright 1993" on their splash screens.

Well it wasn't released a year later, it was released late into the NES life, and unlike a few games like Kirby's Adventure, it was largely unplayed because of it. Many fans of the original game had no idea there was a sequel before the world wide web in fact.

I had on idea there was a sequel until I read the article. I used to own Duck Tales for GB and thought it was better than what the author thinks it is, but it's been a long time and I never played the NES version in the first place. I can't wait to play the entire series and make an article about it at my site.

My, that was exhaustive. I spent a lot of time with the GB version of DuckTales in my youth, and never actually played the NES version. (I found it really cool that Capcom came up with original box art for the GB game rather than recycling the NES box art.) Even though it went a bit screwy sometimes, I thought its music was quite superb, especially for such an early GB game. I also really don't know what you're referring to about being unable to grab onto a vine in mid-bounce. Perhaps the issues you experienced were emulation-related? Was it really Gyro in the NES bonus stages? I had the impression it was just Launchpad again. (No bonus stage in the GB version, alas.) By the way, DuckTales 2 GB also cuts out the boss from the Underground stage, which is rather disappointing. (It could turn you into a frog in the NES version.) Nintendo bought the rights to re-release it in a Player's Choice box, even though I doubt it was a "million seller" as the box claims. There seems to be much discrepancy in the article with DuckTales vs "Duck Tales", as well as TaleSpin/Tale Spin/Talespin. But rather than clutter up the thread, I'll just PM you with the other grammar flaws I found.

Yep, it sure is Gyro. It's the first screenshot in the right on the DuckTales section.

Huh. It looks like Launchpad's vehicle from the Amazon stage, but that's unmistakably Gyro.
EDIT: By the way, I did read about a Rescue Rangers NES proto once, but the solitary change is the placement of a spike in the second-to-last boss battle. I am confused and frightened as to why I have retained this knowledge.

I never saw the point of going back to base, other than to grind cash.

Hi everyone, this is my first post in the HG101 forums, but I've been a HG101 fan for about a year or so. And I love it this articile. This games was my favorites when I was a kid (Duck Tales 2, Chip 'n Dale 1 and Darkwing Duck FTW), and the articile was just great.
And yes, keep it up whit the Capcom/Disney games for the SNES. And Space Jam is awesome.
