Uh, there are 3 people on the cover. Triad sounds so much more appropriate than threesome, trio, trinity, or any other variation. So... pretty logical title to me...

The Jedi engine came out before Duke 3D but after Ken silvermans Labyrinth so it could be possible that Lucasarts licensed the engine code from ken silverman and built upon it although the infallible tome of knowledge that is wikipedia says the engine was made from scratch. I wouldn't put so much trust on Wikipedia but getting back to topic I find it interesting that Dark Forces and Duke 3D share a sound effect (and in both games used for a power up). Maybe it was pure coincidence.

You should try playing ROTT with your system date set to 12/25/xx. I believe all of the enemies wear santa claus hats or something to that effect. Can't remember since it's been over a decade or so.

It puts Santa hats on all the team members on the loading screen, and constantly plays an action-y version of "Comfort and Joy". I think in the sound test menu, the song is called "Deadly Gentlemen".

I used to play the shareware version back in the day, but didn't realize it got remade recently. Interesting that it was made without any of the developers ever actually working together in person. I think I may try to check this new version out.

"but due to Gearbox's often, questionable ways" > that comma is superfluous. "that could only have devised with a man who hates humanity" > bit weird.
