Has anyone considered doing an article on Epyx? I'd really love to see an in-depth look at a company that could produce both California Games and Chiller.
-edit-
Dur, that was Exidy, not Epyx. Don't know what I was thinking!

Once Umihara Kawase DS comes out, I'll cover it along with mentioning Yumi's Odd Odyssey and a few other things.
The DS version isn't coming out 'til November though. Of course, it'll probably get pushed back AGAIN.

Also, Bloodrayne isn't complete without Nocturne and the first Blair Witch game. I'm not sure the Blair Witch game is related to BloodRayne. Although it is related to Nocturne, Nocturne itself is only an influence for BloodRayne. BloodRayne was slated for being a sequel at one point, but that changed when Nocturne didn't do so well. I think Nocturne and the Blair Witch games should be a separate article where BloodRayne mentions Nocturne's influences and Nocturne mentions BloodRayne as the sequel that didn't happen. Thanks for those. I'll combine the games, series, and companies listed in those threads here. I need to cull it a little and remove duplicates and articles that have already been written. Feel free to continue to submit ideas if you like, but the two lists above will take a few weeks to get through, so there may not be updates for a while.

I'd like to see an article for Wolfchild and the Shadow of the Beast series.
Timesplitters and Ar Tonelico would be nice too. ;D

So, I've gone through the past threads and gathered everyone's previous requests. I've done my best at a first pass to clean up the resulting dump, and it's listed in the first post. There isn't any more room for updates though like I've already been doing (only 3k characters left), so I'll probably need to split it up between posts.
I don't know how your boards are set up, but how difficult would be it to place a blank post assigned to me as the second post? If it's too difficult, I can just update with my other post on the front page. Thus keeping the list as an easy ctrl-f search reference.
I know I've got some repeat titles in there somewhere, and I'll start cleaning up the list and updating series fairly slowly. Go ahead and take a look, make suggestions like always, and I hope this becomes something everyone can use, if not enjoy.
I think the next step is going to be to go through the Reserved Article thread, and mark the series to show someone is working on it. Also, I should probably link to the person's profile, or just list their name, so people interested in contributing can get in contact with them.

PC-9801 and Game Gear versions of Fray in Magical Adventure are missing from the list. By the way, great work listing all these games, ZenicReverie.

You don't have to worry about the Suikoden series. It's already near completion. I just need to make revisions and do a couple more things before I submit it. Probably after I finish Suikoden, I'll do a much smaller project.

Yowza...
Isn't the existing Phoenix Wright article already complete (aside from Perfect Prosecutor, which isn't out yet) ?
Likewise, Gargoyle's Quest et al was covered in the Ghosts 'n' Goblins article.
Also, no list of Jazz Jackrabbit games would be complete without the two Christmas specials and The Secret Files expansion for Jazz 2.

PC-9801 and Game Gear versions of Fray in Magical Adventure are missing from the list. By the way, great work listing all these games, ZenicReverie. Thanks. I added the consoles to that game, but I'm wondering, how helpful is listing the consoles for games? Is this something that should be listed here, or should that be something the researcher would find on their own. If I'm listing consoles, should I list territories as well? You don't have to worry about the Suikoden series. It's already near completion. I just need to make revisions and do a couple more things before I submit it. Probably after I finish Suikoden, I'll do a much smaller project. I put you down as working on it for now. I think I'll start removing things once they reach the main list on the site. Yowza... Also, no list of Jazz Jackrabbit games would be complete without the two Christmas specials and The Secret Files expansion for Jazz 2. Nice catches. Someone misspelled it as Pheonix Wright, so I missed that one. Gargoyle's Quest was deep inside GnG, and not listed as contents of it, so I missed that one too. As for Jazz Jackrabbit, that's what I get for relying on only one source (wikipedia mainly), but mobygames mentioned those plus a couple more that are now added. Thanks. I went ahead and split up the post into the 4th reply on the first page. I probably should have had some foresight and made a placeholder post after I made the thread, but maybe I won't need it if this thread can encourage people to write more articles. Like I said above, I'll slowly be filling out the list more, and as I do I'll move more titles back to the starting post.

Likewise, Gargoyle's Quest et al was covered in the Ghosts 'n' Goblins article. Yeah, that could use its own entry in the main list (like Cannon Dancer, for example)

I had already planned on doing the Shadowgate series, zenicreverie, but as for the other Macventure games, I really can't help. I'll do the Shadowgate article like I planned, and later somebody could do an addendum article (Other Macventure)

Just to let everyone know, I am working on a very big article covering Wolf Team's entire repertoire and all of their off-shoot companies' work. This includes any games developed by Tri-Ace, Namco Tales Studio, Tri-Crescendo. To clarify what that includes, see the list below:
Arcus Series Baten Kaitos: The Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean Baten Kaitos Origins Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell Infinite Undiscovery Radiata Stories Sol Feace/Deace Star Ocean Series Tales of ... Series Valkyrie Profile Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria
There are other games, of course, but they're pretty obscure and I know a lot of people here will not have heard of them until they appear in the article. Also, there's the Anett trilogy, which Kurt has already covered.

Also, there's the Anett trilogy, which Kurt has already covered. That seems like a huge undertaking. Why not split each of those series into their own article? Then you could have a separate Wolf Team article for the more obscure games. (I'm actually playing Granada off and on this week in a friendly tournament.) Unless that's what you're planning on doing anyway. That way, any future installments of a series can be added to the end of the article instead of say in the middle of a huge one where it might get lost. I had already planned on doing the Shadowgate series, zenicreverie, but as for the other Macventure games, I really can't help. I'll do the Shadowgate article like I planned, and later somebody could do an addendum article (Other Macventure) Yeah, I wasn't really sure if Shadowgate should get its own article separate from MacVenture, but it was suggested to put them in the same pile.

Would be enough when each series get's their own additional entry in the series list, no?

you know on a similiar note i would like to add that there is really no need to lump every mysterious dungeon game in a single article especialy since the most important titles resides in the shiren and torneko series
