Pyramid Head doesn't ninja flip Sounds like someone hasn't seen the movies. Probably best to keep it that way.

Blight town and Quelaag had to be the biggest challenges yet!
... not because the enemies were a problem but instead thanks to the game chugging at 3 fps as soon as the particle emitters from the torches and stuff came into view which they everywhere. Brings back memories of Shadow of the Colossus. Guess I should have got the pc version. Oh well.

quelaag can be a real bitch! The second I read that I pictured it as a mid-90's Gamepro ad for the game. personman, if you made it through Blightown and Quelaag the rest of the game will be a breeze. With the exception of these two of course.

Also, the snipers in Anor Londo.

Damn, forgot about those. I get the sweats just thinking about them. But I never found Anor Londo to be as anger inducing as Blightown was to me. I think because it was towards the end of Sen's and into Anor that the game really started clicking with me that it seemed like a breath of fresh air compared to the beginning of the game.

I worked with a guy who was stuck on Sen's for months and wouldn't shut up about it, so I was dreading it for a while. I think he built my expectations for it so high that it just didn't seem like that big a deal for me.

It does a great job of teaching the ethos of the franchise, though. Do not rush through anything blindly. I also love (hate) how the game constantly tries to fuck you over by putting titanite demons in very cramped spaces.

It really does(both points). Sen's is almost like a Danger Room situation. It throws everything at you from floor switch at entrance to the giants at the top. One thing after another.
How they really screw with you is by putting the first titanite demon in a huge room. It gives such a false sense of accomplishment that when you run into them in Sen's and in the Tomb of the Giants you get crushed by them in such small spaces.
