Read it in full, and I have to say that was a very well done article.
Hell, maybe now that we're finally fixing our 360's disc drive, I may get it someday! Also, that interview with SWERY was quite good.
As for Spy Fiction I remember playing it at a friend's house some years ago, back in 2007. I really don't remember much of it, but it was somewhat decent.
PS: I absolutely love how Rising Star included Jim Sterling's 10/10 on the box.

I've almost been tempted to import the PS3 version, rather than get a 360 just for this game(and I've considered it!).

If you have some basic Japanese ability it's pretty easy. All dialogue is in English, and there's only a couple of text-only dialogue boxes now and again. Which are annoying, but not deal breakers. There's also the occasional multi-choice question to answer, but if you can read katakana you'll do fine. I would say it's totally 100% worth importing it. It was my GOTY for that year. So, so good. Also, there are no separate trophies for different difficulties, so you can play on Easy and platinum the game. The only tricky thing is the radio and the names of people on maps, but I did a simple translation table: blog.hardcoregaming101.net/2010/06/deadly-premonition-for-japanese-players.html

That was a really good article. Still remember buying this day one on the 360. I'd been following the game for a while and just couldn't resist.

I'm happy that this game got an article. It is one of my favourites. I still whistle Life Is Beautiful all the time, Zach.

Just wanted to mention that the Japanese title is given as Red Seed Profile at the top of the article, when it really should be Red Seeds Profile, as can be seen on the two cover shots.
Definitely sounds like an intriguing game and more interesting to me than 90% of the current generation's output. I was kinda put-off by the mostly negative reviews floating around, but I guess now that I need to try it for myself. So, thanks for the article!
