I'd be careful with what voice actors say they could easily decide to release on both systems at a later date.
As much as I love Suikoden it'd have to be 2x better then 1 and 2 put together to make me personally consider the price of a PS3 for it.

Some people want the PS3. Others want a Xbox360. Some of us are getting a Wii. Others are content with their Dreamcasts......

Some people want the PS3. Others want a Xbox360. Some of us are getting a Wii. Others are content with their Dreamcasts...... Exactly - a huge bunch of people want the PS3, now I am not one of them - but its obvious they exist. How many surveys in Japan have had it at the top of the most wanted list? Pretending that the PS3 isn't going to sell is a tad moronic- now while I do see Sony losing their hold this generation I think saying they aren't going to sell it to anyone but the fanboys is pure wishful thinking.

Exactly. And although im no Sony fan, ultimately the system with the most 3d party support (therefore, most kick-ass games) is probably going to "win" this generation. That said, I'm betting that both the PS3 and the 360 are going to be almost tied this generation, and the Wii is either going for the first place or the third, but all of them are going to earn their companies massive profits either way. And, as I said before, ultimately it's all about the games, not the systems.

Well, it's launch linepup ad it's early games were almost made entierly out of sequels and ports (Perfect Dark Zero, Project Gotham Racing 3, Call of Duty 2....), as with both the PS3's and the Nintendo Wii's, just as with the generation before it.

The thing about it is the Xbox 360's launch titles pretty much sucked.

As much as I love Suikoden it'd have to be 2x better then 1 and 2 put together to make me personally consider the price of a PS3 for it. That won't be too hard as adding Suiko 1 to part 2 would actually be a reduction in quality.

Well, he's right that Sony is making a gamble, but he's exaggerating things from here to fanboyia, and compleetly ignoring things such as the profits sony will reap from game sales, and the great success of the PSP. Plus, he insulted sega fans.

I can never take "X company is doomed!" articles seriously especially when they say ridiculous stuff about Microsoft buying Sony's video game division.
It does raise many many valid points though.

I have to agree with kurt about the article. It just goes from a little bit of pretty interesting stuff into fanboyia

It's hard to take an article like this seriously since it's obviously against Sony. The other thing that bothers me is that the author states that Sony has been performing poorly in its electronic sales. I'd like to see some numbers to back that claim.
Also, never put "begs the question" in any paper, ever. It's a stale phrase bordering on the cliche.
I'm not against or for Sony. I think it's stupid for you to want a system to tank because of fanboyism. I want games, point blank. If I need three systems for it, so be it. But I won't be buying it, like the PS2, for a few years until the price drops. Too rich for my blood, thank you.
