If it's a doujin game, definitely.

It's a doujin game. I already took all the screenshots. I should be able to write 500 words on this pretty easy.

I'm not sure if this should go here. I'm almost done with the 500 Word Indie I've been writing up. Is there a specific template to used when turning it into a little floating web page like I did with Sapphire? I saved the HTML for the 500 Word Indie page and I'm not sure if I should work off of that because I'm not for sure where exactly it would fall on the page. Should I try to work off of that, or try to wing it and make the HTML from scratch? I'm thinking the "make from scratch" idea might be the way to go, but I'm not completely sure.

The easiest way if you want to do the html formatting: Just take the current page, replace the title, text and image links for one game, delete all the other game entries and submit the files. Moving the section over to the actual page is trivial after that. EDIT: Time to put things in perspective: www.hardcoregaming101.net/500wordindies/500wordindies-01.htm#perspectiveThis is Perspective, an experimental puzzle platformer by students at DigiPen. Also, I've originally meant to post one new game for each next main site update, but it turns out we're building up a huge backlog of reviews to post that way in times when main site updates get more erratic. So from now on I'll have to put a new entry every week. I'm planning to post about it on the blog tomorrow, and from then on every Friday.

Got it, thanks! This shouldn't be too hard.

"it's not simple as it looks" > should be "not as simple" "DirectX 9 are very dated" > should be "is very dated"
Too bad it requires DirectX 11 indeed, I wanted to play that quite badly.

I've always considered DirectX to be "libraries" and therefore plural. Funny how the latest of the reviews I've written after Giddy 3 ends up published first I'm currently undecided on what next because I've got really many to choose from. I'm also very curious to see that PC98 game from nickz, it sounds deliciously crazy. Today we know the Japanese doujin scene from Touhou onwards but the pre-Windows era is equally rich - I don't know about other systems but at least one X68000 romset separates between commercial and doujin games.

I've always considered DirectX to be "libraries" and therefore plural. Well I was thinking "library". Or that it should be an uncountable noun, like pasta (a good technological example).

Seems like I didn't post last weeks entry here, but I probably should in case not everyone is checking the blog. This week we feature Rework the Dead: Evil, a very morbid zombie apocalypse with anthropomorphic animals as characters. Last week we had a rewrite of my older review of Home, together with a new one of Little Inferno, the most recent game by the makers of World of Goo and Henry Hatsworth.

Oh, that one's brilliant. I'm currently translating it in French, actually, although I've been procrastinating lately...
