Soooo... working from home every day + no one dares to socialize at the moment = video games with myself every night! I am building like a crazy person in DQ Builders 2.
Anyway, I hope you’re all doing alright, wherever in the world you are. I hope things can get back to ”normal” again soon, though it looks like we might be here for a while now. Heck, entire countries are literally closing...

I just hope for everyone's sake that they don't live in places where people are hoarding stuff en masse. I live by myself and I could barely get my regular groceries the past two days because people are just hoarding every possible type of product despite the fact it has been said numerous times by various different sources that there is no reason to do so. At least I have the luxury of being able to go out to the supermarket whenever I want, but people with a regular dayjob are pretty much getting fucked over.

Yeah, it’s the same here and I’m especially curious why people are hoarding things like toilet paper? I have a couple of supermarkets in my neighbourhood and they’re all out! Never happened before. I also went to the pharmacy to get pain killers (not for hoarding but because I was out) and lo and behold: I got the LAST pack. What is this, The Walking Dead? Anyway, most stores will restock as usual on monday I guess, but it’s still a shitty behaviour from egotistical people. Why do you need 15 packages of pasta? What are you, a restaurant? Jeez... (Sorry for OT)

Where I live it is actually already a bit of a problem. There is enough stored in distribution centres, but it'll take supermarkets a while to stock up. And the local food bank is running into issues because people are emptying the supermarkets. I'm afraid that when the shelves will be nice and full again next week a new group of people will start stocking up simply because they think that'll be a nice opportunity to hoard while they can.
As for toilet paper, that seems to be the big thing. I haven't seen TP on the shelves the past three days (though I have seen lots of people carrying TP strangely enough). I went to the store three hours after our prime minister announced nation-wide measures on thursday and there was already no TP, and almost no pasta or handsoap left. And I live in a province with only two confirmed corona cases! If shit's really about to get down, toilet paper is one of the last things I'd worry about. There are certainly ways to get around...that issue, as opposed to stuff like shampoo or toothpaste.
Anyway, to make this post slightly gaming-related, at least Animal Crossing fans seem to be content with having to spend the next few weeks at home.

People are just going crazy. Stores have been low on TP for weeks. Gallon jugs of water are low. Hand soap is almost nonexistent. Potatoes are wiped out but not other produce. My employer was basically like "Work from home until April unless you have to come in".
ACNH is accidentally well timed!

It's certainly thoughtful that a lot of major media companies are offering free streaming for things like movies, anime, manga, and porn during this time.
Even though I dislike having to pay for PSN just to be able to play Monster Hunter World with friends, the monthly offering of "free" games does make it more palatable. Like Shadow of Colossus! Finally! I certainly wouldn't mind if PSN could just mayhap, mayhap add Ico and Last Guardian. =)
As for toilet paper, maybe it's time I start doing some trading into bidet futures. I'm already tired of the hysteria to stockload items. I just went in to get a sandwich and some chocolate this morning at the market, and I was waiting at check-out for 15 minutes.... and they couldn't be bothered to open the 10-items-or-less check-out line. Small inconvenience, but really? Does it have to be this shop crazy at 7:00 AM on a Saturday morning? The place is usually dead empty that tumble weeds could roll through.

Yeah, it seems more and more likely that the virus was in fact created and spread by Nintendo! It explains why they have next to nothing planned for the rest of 2020. ANIMAL CORONASSING!

Playing Megami Tensei at the moment and enjoying it way more than I thought I would. Seems like a very reasonably challenging dungeon crawler after the first two bosses.
Got access to a floating flying dungeon now that I can land in much later parts of the games including the last dungeon and now I'm in the process of grinding mobs way out of my exp level to get insanely quick level gains. I love breaking RPGS!

Are you playing the NES original or the Kyuuyaku SNES version? I found it to be pretty resonable and progress-steady too, but that's for the later version.
