Sad to see the hype disappear so quickly after the game's unearthing... Does anyone know if a translation is being worked on? I really want to play this game, but learning Japanese is hard as hell (I know from personal experience >.>)

I've seen 4-5 threads about a translation project but nothing seem to have really be done... But it's definitely possible... There's also some peoples talking about a "translation document", a kind of book with all the in-game text translated to read when you're playing And there's also this : mega.co.nz/#!SYol0JZY!AA4_YCf-j9J7E1L1mxJm93BDYztvV9AqAQQ5GMmgJ80 On another note, I can't get past the intro, my game always crash... Does someone know how to solve that?

I'm at the point now where I'm actually considering hiring a Japanese speaker to sit with me and translate as I play through the game, haha XD As for the unencrypted Macromedia Director files linked to, personally, I wouldn't know the first thing to do with them, though hopefully someone more knowledgeable in that field decides to take up the challenge. On another note, I can't get past the intro, my game always crash... Does someone know how to solve that? I did up this advanced guide a while ago to get it up and running perfectly in VirtualBox, haven't had a single report of it not working: 1. Download the following; it's a VirtualBox .vdi containing both Windows XP SP1 (activated) and the game itself: www.mediafire.com/?1pd6xng2545zgmy2. Install VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads). 3. Create a new virtual machine, name it as you like (I just called mine "Garage"). 4. Change the type to Windows XP (32 bit), then click next. 5. Set the RAM to 64MB, click next. 6. Tick 'use an existing virtual hard drive file' and select GARAGEXP.vdi, as previously downloaded, then click create. 7. Within VirtualBox (and with the newly added Garage VM highlighted), click settings. 8. Go to the display tab; set the video memory to 1MB then click OK. 9. Start the Garage VM; Windows XP should now launch in a 640x480 window (the maximum display resolution for the game). 10. Double click the Garage desktop shortcut; it should now play perfectly with no errors whatsoever.

I'm at the point now where I'm actually considering hiring a Japanese speaker to sit with me and translate as I play through the game, haha XD Hahaha! I've already thought the same thing for Nuclear Titbit (with a Russian speaker in that case). Thanks for the tutorial, but I've managed to make it work directly on Windows 7 without even using the compatibility options. There's still the "32000..." warning who pop before the game's launch (don't know what it says but it probably have something to do with the displays/colors) Other than that it work perfectly, you just have to follow that tutorial and put it in Japanese : windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-system-locale#1TC=windows-7

Hope these translations get done eventually. I stopped posting anything because life and also I felt my crusade to find obscure games was shitting up the board.
I do like the fact that you do care though! Thanks!

I know I'm necro posting, but did any new info spawn for this game? Thanks everyone.

Don't be ashamed, those threads MUST stay alive... It's the only "stable" place to go (as 4chan's threads eventually get archived).
But except for peoples asking, like you, for news... Nothing seems to happen.
If my life let me have a little bit more of spare time, I'll start myself the "translation-document" project (see 6 post above) as it's the more simple solution. If anyone else want to make that happen, I'll definitely try to help the best I could though...

I would still definitely love to feature this game, if someone is willing to write an article on it. Please let me know!

I have the free time but none of the necessary skills to see the game working in English. There's forums on the Internet's World-Wide-Web with peoples just asking to translate you things. So if you have the will, you could find the text in the game and ask them to translate. Or you could even start with the manual... I'm sure if somebody start the project, with a minimum of organization, peoples will raise from under their rock to come and help. We just need a leader to raise the beacon...

I am also still very much interested in the possibility of this game being translated. I'd be willing to throw a bit of cash at it, if we can find someone willing to undertake the task.

I'm going to bump this since it's been so long and there's still more to be discovered. I love the new site layout. @discoalucard Has anything been discovered or has a copy been found online. I thought it was dumped? I know a fellow on here was trying to translate it.
