New additions: Recognised this one as being from the Dr. Jeckyll and Mr Hyde game. Not the same scene in the game, but proof enough that they're the same game. The third and fourth ones I have found to be from Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima IV, aka Adventure Island 4. Check at around 3:30 below to see the desert. This one is from Ninja Gaiden (the PC Engine port)

Haha. I think it's a parody from a scene in a game called Metal Eye. And this one I recognized straight away. It's a rare non pornographic PC98 adventure game!: Login Disk & Book Series - Manhattan RequiemLOGiN DISK&BOOKシリーズ マンハッタンレクイエム media.tumblr.com/272aee6b227a54c874b5b77925f40392/tumblr_inline_mtac42UjAL1qdd8jd.pngDid you know? Story and scenario is by Rika Suzuki, who would later help form Cing and write for games such as Another Code and Hotel Dusk. An iOS version of this game is available in English.

I'm pretty positive the 11th from the top on your page comes from "Sega's Great Golf" (SMS). Guise, this thread is mighty. And hardcore. Lots of thumbs up.

The twinkling Sphere is from Egypt for the Famicom. Yes it certainly seems to be. Nice find there. Colonel Kurtz: You mean this one? I had a look at Mobygames, but it doesn't seem to match up graphically, so I'm not sure. I'll have a look else where tho.

Yup, that's definitely him. He's even holding his can of tea, there's no way that's a coincidence. Had a look though, and I'm having real trouble finding this specific version. Any help from Puyo Puyo fans would be highly appreciated!

But people, my guts tell me that this thread is one of the reasons why some visionary created HG101 some day!! (Hi-llo, Discoalucard!) This thread is incredibly stimulating. I'm floored. I love this thread, I could not express how much. drpepperfan : Someone find you a job in the retro-niche, fast.
