Of course it was, Uematsu rips off tons of stuff. IIRC there's even a track or two in FFVIII or IX that's ripped off from Harry Gregson-Williams' score for The Rock.  |

I guess you mean the one in FFVIII which was used on the attack to I-forget-where near the beginning of the game, where the Seeds see their first real action. |
