Next update will be the last. For games, only mobiles, the Mega Man vs Street Fighter fan game and unreleased titles are left. Then cameos and other media.

Yay finally the DOS Games \o/ Never knew about that Rockman Strategy game, very interesting to read about. What other things are left to write about? I'm guessing we're scraping the bottom of the barrel now for Classic games. Mobile games, Street Fighter x Mega Man, cancelled games, the ripoff Krion Conquest, then the media stuff.

Any chance we'll get a Mega Man X article after this one is finished? If you go like with the classic series with two games each week, it could be completed in five weeks, since it only have three spin-offs.

It would only take five weeks to post, but a lot more work goes in to the articles for weeks or months before a collection like this could be ready to post.

I’m not sure if this has been said already, but it’s kinda confusing how the part about Power Battle home ports covers both the Neo Geo Pocket version as well as the PS2 version, but all the screenshots are from the NGPC version, which probably looks pretty different from the PS2 one.

Now that I got my free code from Comcept, I wonder if I should add a review of Mighty Gunvolt to the Homage section alongside Krion Conquest?
It's pretty short but the Beck gameplay is very Classic/X Mega Man.

I have to object to the somewhat harsh tone towards the company used in the Street Fighter X Mega Man segment of this update. The fact Capcom USA endorsed and distributed a fan-game, irrespective of the game's quality, is both unusual and incredibly cool. Compare how, for instance, Electronic Arts treated the creator of that updated flash version of Ultima IV. A major corporation seems rather more likely to shut down silly little tributes for IP violation than endorse them.
Is it possible to expand the segment on the GBA Anniversary Collection more? Is there any more info on record from Atomic Planet on why the collection was cancelled? Disappointed me greatly when it was, and the bit about the source-code being lost is more than I've been able to dig up myself.

Not really comparable because one is a whole new game while the other is the same game, but now on flash, which they had no permission for.

I only remember reading about it in magazines at the time, which would've been about 10 years ago, saying about some kind of issues with the source code.

It's because your console is a crappy NES, not a glorious, all-Nippon Famicom, american loser! I'm joking, of course
