Since the game was in tech-tuning stages when the 2011 disaster struck, I'd speculate Granzella might be able to get the game running on PS4 and handheld systems, if not PC so they could publish through a Western localizer and reap in the Steam cash. Hopefully the company will be able to make original works if this game receives a good localization and distribution across platforms.

1-3 are being re-released on PSN in Japan. I think the new game will remain on Playstation. One of the comments on the site shared www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201412240004/ that claims Granzella DOES have 4 still. No idea if Agetec will bring their localizations over, and I doubt 3 will finally be localized.

Actually it is exclusively 3DS eshop. Which is disappointing because they used to be the ones bringing over most of the From Software games. To go from there to basically doujin... I think the only Agetec game on PSN is RPG Maker 3.

The R-Type games that they published got pulled down though a long time ago.

Awesome, news. Disaster Report and Raw Danger were very fun playthroughs. The localization efforts being half the reason they're so fun. Still haven't played the 3rd one and was supremely disappointed by what happened to the 4th. Can't wait for this.

Maybe they should make my idea of a Disaster Report-like game where the environmental hazard is the weather has food raining down from the heavens along with other food based weather, (tornado of tomato soup.) They already came up with something like that. It's called Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

I'm a big fan of the food-based geographical nomenclature that began in Super Mario World so I'd still like to see it in many genres.

I assume the game that was released your mentioning is more of an action game. In fact, my idea was inspired by the book of the same name (it's a personal favorite from my childhood,) long before the movie came along (which I refuse to watch as it was a CG cartoon and not a live action one. They could have won an Oscar for special effect if it was made that way.)

All of those "A1 Games" budget games on PSN are Agetec-published, too.
