If Hot-B wins, do the games made by Starfish count? Since Hot-B became Starfish. While I don't exactly want to play a bad game (although I guess "disappointing" compared to an amazing game can still be good), I'll go with Disappointing Followups just because I'm not interested in playing PC Edutainment and I don't think I own anything from Hot-B. You can pick-up Steel Empire on 3DS. Fantastic port!

It looks as though Hot-B Catalog is leading the poll! Looking over Hot-B and Starfish's catalog, it seems their better games consist of the Black Bass series, which are fishing simulators; a few puzzle games, with Devilish being the most notable; and a handful of average to great shmups.
If Hot-B Catalog were to win, what would you want to see most? I feel we've already covered fishing simulators pretty well with Legend of the River King, and I don't believe we've covered a single shmup yet, so I'm leaning towards Steel Empire and Over Horizon for this one.

I could play a shmup on my commute. I've completed Steel Empire many times though, and I suspect that's the case for many more people than Over Horizon, so I'd say go for the latter. (Or, since shmups don't tend to be very long and at least Steel Empire can certainly be won legitly within a week if you're starting from zero, playing both may be possible/best.)

If it came down to it, I'd say Steel Empire over Over Horizon, since a port is available on e-Shop and more people could get involved (I'm glaring at you zerker and Succubus); Over Horizon's pretty hard to come by and expensive even in Japan. However, I'd personally like to play Shingen the Ruler.

Huh, I didn't realize they made a strategy game! I'm still leaning towards shmups here (if Steel Empire is overdone, there's Insector-X), but Shingen the Ruler is worth considering.

If Hot B wins, there's Devilish too.

Hah, Shingen the Ruler, I actually do own that; I didn't realize it was Hot-B. It's always cracked me up how the cart's label is instructions. Steel Empire looks pretty cheap for Genesis (bless the Genesis for most of its games still being cheap even on eBay), so I might pick up a copy if it's selected.

I'm voting PC Edutainment in the hopes we get something really amazing. Or not.

(I'm glaring at you zerker and Succubus) (smiles and waves) Over Horizon was actually on my wishlist for a while, but I eventually said 'screw that' due to the price. Steel Empire looks like fun to pick up though. I wouldn't mind replaying Ancient Empires either, so I'm good no matter what wins.

After a close, last minute vote, the games for March are:
...and Over Horizon! :p
