🧀Son of Suzy Creamcheese🧀 Here you go. T.V. thread. Since its midsummer and nothing new is on its Netflix for me. And generally it's just before bed. Lately I've been watching 30 Rock or Frasier.

I am slowly but surely trickling through the entirety of Inuyasha. When I get bored of the filler I switch to something else to break up the monotony. Current distraction is Ushio and Tora episode 1.

Awesome, moran. I'm currently watching through a couple of things. Kill la Kill, which is just terrific. I love the over-the-top action and the animation. I don't watch a lot of anime, but I love this one. Star Trek TOS, which I find surprisingly good. I mean, it looks cheesy as hell, but the stories are pretty clever mostly. And Big Time in Hollywood. Pretty funny so far, and a good plot for a comedy series. I should also probably get to watching the second half of the latest season of Workaholics some time. It's just too bad Dutch television is so inconsistent with bringing US series over. They usually air seasons much later, sometimes like a year or so. Thank god for the internet.

I've finished off most of my sitcoms, so I started watching Digimon Frontier and am now near the tailend. Probably, gonna start the second season of Bojack Horseman afterwards, though I have Flash, Arrow, and Constantine to catch up on as well. Was meaning to start at least the first season of Game of Thrones but I guess that'll have to wait. And I really shouldn't have dipped into a little bit of iZombie in the morning. Last thing I saw though was the second to latest episode of Girl Meets World with my sisters. And damn, that guest appearance brought so many feels. I can't believe they tracked down the original actor.

I recently binge-watched original Sailor Moon series. It was a nice revisit to the franchise that I haven't seen since I was like 8. I liked how the show teetered into edge of becoming formulaic only to suddenly throw in something to the mix.
I want to continue with the series and move on to the next Sailor Moon series, but I kind of want to watch some other old-school anime.

Daredevil is a really good show. I still need to watch it, I'm really looking forward to it. We watched The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, it was alright. I'm not really a big fan of 30 Rock or Tina Fey but it was pretty cute.

I'm so glad that we finally have a TV thread!
Kill la Kill is freakin' awesome. I think that the biggest thing I can say in its favor is that I became emotionally invested in the heroine's relationship with her sentient superpowered uniform. No, really.
The second half of the series is really good with shocking twists and great feels. These twists, however, are why I implore new viewers to not read about the series too much before checking it out. You can read between the lines and spoil a lot of it for yourself. ;-;

I recently watched all of True Detective Season 1... twice... in the same week. This was right before S02E03 came on. Now I'm half way into Black Mirror, which is right up my alley, because I think The Twilight Zone is the best show there ever was. And if it counts, which it should, I recently watched all of Trapped in the Closet. For the first time, embarrassingly. I can't wait to see some more installments.

Finished Digimon Frontier. That was decidedly upbeat for what I thought they were gonna wind up doing. Um, something strange when it's expected that a child's shonen anime will be downbeat, but after the ending of Tamers and all the signs in Frontier pointing towards a melancholy ending it was pretty much expected. Damn, did these crew of digidestined suck when it came to fights. They spent over half the anime losing to the same people over and over again. Don't recall any of the others doing this badly. Eitherway, it was fun romp through the Digital World.
Started watching more of iZombie, but hulu only has a couple of episodes up. Really lame. There should be an asterisk on a lot of there series that state where it's finished or unfinished. Because I never would've started Case CLosed if I knew they only had 5 freakin' dubbed episodes. Picked up where I stopped watching Monster Rancher and that just really made me despair how there's no new games on the horizon, and the mobile game was closed last year.

been watching Twin Peaks with my mum, weird how fresh and original it feels considering its older than I am Oh yes! I know people act disappointed in parts of the second season but I still think it's basically one of the best tv shows ever made. I'm really excited that they finally worked out whatever and were able to get Lynch and the rest of the cast on board to do this follow up series that's happening in a year and a half or whatever. I remember watching the original when it was new, I was like ten though so I "knew" it was a good show based on how every adult I knew was excited about it then I watched it again as an adult and it really is amazing.

I like to keep MST3K and Dr. Katz on as background noise. Until a few months ago I never missed an episode of Bob's Burgers, and I'm eagerly awaiting new episodes of The Flash. I know the Flash isn't a perfect show; the writers are embarrassingly incapable of handling female characters and the "villain of the week" episodes can drag when none of the villains really stand much of a chance against the hero. But god dammit, we're living in an age where a prime time network television show has the Flash and Firestorm racing towards the camera before cutting to a commercial break, and I kind of love it.
Also, spoiler: I don't care what anyone says, Tom Cavanagh's supervillain sociopath performance is every bit on par with Heath Ledger's Joker.
