I'm not big on procedurally generated games anyway. Unless you're talking Toejam and Earl, me neither.

I think Minecraft looks stupid and boring and I'm perplexed how it became a phenomena with toys and a movie on the way. Especially its popularity with kids, back in my day we would have just laughed at it and gone back to playing Halo, it's like if Cubivore became a massive hit. In a way I can understand it though because it came at a time when there was a lack of innovation in gaming and it was a totally new idea, plus I feel like there was a new generation of kids who came along around that time for whom Minecraft and Angry Birds were probably the first games they ever played and their taste were not well developed yet. But still, the graphics are so ugly and the whole thing just sounds tedious and dull, I just don't get it. I look at it as a virtual Lego set with a purpose, where the different kinds of blocks serve different functions that aren't limited to different colors and textures. I suppose I can understand the mining part being tedious as hell, though, especially in early game when you're limited to just wood and stone tools until iron becomes more plentiful and you start finding diamonds.

I would really give Minecraft more credit than just, 'oh it happened to be one of the first games kids play'. I mean, it IS ugly (but you don't have to stick with the standard textures of course), but it is one of the most fun games out there. There's a shit ton of stuff you can do. The world, because it is generated from blocks instead of structures, can have some pretty cool terrain. It may look tedious if you're not playing it, but that's because just watching someone else play means you're not investing in that player's world. I'd seriously recommend giving the game a fair try to see what the fuss is about. It didn't click with me either until I actually played it myself.

Yeah, I might give it a try someday, I don't like to bash stuff, I would much rather like something than hate something, which is the total opposite of some people, who seem like they enjoy hating something more than actually enjoying something. I just associate Minecraft with the early '10s, my early 20s and a slew of different trends that came along around the same time that just seemed weird to me and made me feel old (serendipitously enough the South Park episode "You're Getting Old" from 2011 summed up my feelings at the time), it wasn't just Minecraft but also Angry Birds and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. These days though I could care less that there exists "Bronies" (though MLP is just not something I have interest in) and I actually found Angry Birds fun, though it got old fast, so I should probably stop being a stick in the mud and give Minecraft a try someday.

something that I forgot:
I thought that the Might number 9 trailer was hilarious. I reminded me of the weird 90's ads. Just watching the ad and you ask yourself: Who is the target group and what is the unique attitude of the product. Why should people buy that and not other stuff from some rival companies?
The answer: There is no answer.
Yours sincerely

Lets see....
I like reading reviews for bad games (and bad movies.) They can be more entertaining then the good ones. Pretty much a guilty pleasure.
I also prefer 2d and 3d women over the real thing unless they have a body like or close to Pamela Anderson or Anna Nicole.

As 2pac would say: "Revenge is the sweetest joy, next to gettin' pussy." Of course, real-life women do have their share of headaches. Moreso when you cohabitat with them.

I love to read/watch reviews of bad games/movies/comics/anime/whatever. I really love when something is perfectly so bad it's good.

I could never have guessed, that Hard Rock/Heavy Metal and Zelda can be so closely related.

I'm a simple man and ecchi will sell me on a game. Hence I have so many Vita games.

I've beaten over 60 games this year. Only two of them are 2017 releases.
Both statements are kind of embarrassing.
