Eh, I think I owned it twice myself. There's no way it's anywhere near rare, they're just fucking with you. It should sell for about the price of Tekken 3, based on rarity. What about the Greatest Hits edition, isn't that one cheaper?

Been a while since I tracked it...just remember multiple people listing the most bog standard game on the system for three figures. There was a time when these things made sense, like when Xenogears and Tactics were going for ~$200. Now people can charge $50 for SMB1 and I just cry.

Black bar is more sought after than greatest hits. I didn’t really care though. I wanted cash for a PS4 and my PS1, DC, and majority of my SNES collection made more than enough as well as being cathartic. No regrets.

That's a good question. There are plenty of places where you can find instruction manuals, but actual strategy guides? Can't recall hearing of anyone doing that.

Though, there's nothing to say they will take those down either. The announcement for EmuParadise only mentions removing games. We'll have to see what happens when the "changed" site is live again.

Nicoblog was a good source of those for a time but sometime ago they removed guides altogether without any explanation.

And yet assholes are charging upwards of $100 for it. I give up! Ironically the PC port can be had for pennies. I bought that specifically so I could apply a fan-made retranslation (which is possible on the PS1 too but my success with CD-Rs in consoles doesn't have the best track record) and its actually not bad, from what I've played. It even includes synthesizer programs to make the music sound close to the PS1. It's only too bad I didn't get a boxed copy. I love the trapezoids Eidos was rocking. EDIT: My experiences with FF7 PC were on a Win98SE comp, I have no idea how it would fare on modern hardware, though I'm given to understand there's a metric ton of patches and fan-updates for it. Supposedly the Steam version is NOT the same thing.
