OK guys, below is my current collection - I think I have most of the good games on Wii (and a few bad ones)...but perhaps there's some stuff I'm missing? Any suggestions? Not looking for imports since I need a different system to play those so only games with a PAL release please. Also not interested in the other New Play Control games.

Another Code R, Rhythm Paradise, Fragile Dreams, Opoona, Sakura Wars Oh, I misplaced Fragile Dreams, I do have it. Quite a nice game. Also Rhythm Paradise is in the top row in the first pic, missing that would pretty much be sacrilege. Thanks for the recommendations - I'd seen Opoona recommended before, though I was always dubious. I will try to pick those up. Sakura Wars is super expensive now, so that's the only one I might not be able to stretch to.

Why is your copy of Mario Kart Wii not in the pictures? I'm guessing you have Wii Sports as a pack-in, but where the hell is Wii Sports Resort? WarioWare: Smooth Moves is pretty essential. Kirby's Adventure Wii is pretty good. Link's Crossbow Training, Flingsmash and Wii Play Motion are all pretty cheap and worth adding*. Kororinpa got a sequel, if you like the original. Also, Big Brain Academy, and hear met out, is one of the more underrated multiplayer games I've ever played. It's also dirt-cheap. kaoru , Rhythm Paradise is in there. It was just retitled Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise in Europe for some reason. *I've never played Flingsmash

🧀Son of Suzy Creamcheese🧀 - Mario Kart Wii is not there because... confession time - I don't like Mario Kart (flees...then returns to answer the rest of the post) Yeah Wii Sports might be at my parents house or something. I never liked it though. I didn't know there was another Wii Play. I actually had 3 copies of the original because Nintendo on their launch of their multiplayer living room console, didn't ship controllers individually here - the only way to get them was with Wii Play. So when they bring up data with that game as a multi million seller this is what always comes to mind as the reason. I will definitely check out the rest - though I don't very often get to play multiplayer. Also didn't know there was a second Kororinpa. The first is generally fun outside of a few levels. *Randomly there is a loose copy of Link's Crossbow Training in one of my junk boxes. I should give it a try (if it works)

I can understand not liking Mario Kart Wii...it doesn't really hold up that well IMO. But not liking Mario Kart in general? There's not a single MK game you like? Some of them are pretty different.
As for Wii Sports, I never really liked it that much either, but Resort is still a must-have.
Wii Play Motion is a Wiimotion Plus showcase. It's not that great, but again it's really cheap. Probably worth it alone for the stone-skipping minigame. Funnily enough, we never picked up the original Wii Play, even though I remember it being bundled with a controller. I think we got multiple controllers pretty early since we were a 3 kid household so we never really needed it.

🧀Son of Suzy Creamcheese🧀 - I liked the original Super Mario Kart. I think that's more of a racer in comparison to the others. The problem with Mario Kart is whilst always fun in multiplayer the single player experience I find a real chore. I did pick up the Wii U game and didn't enjoy it in the slightest, but of course, I never had the opportunity to play in local multiplayer (and online is pointless imo).

With the other stuff mentioned, I'd say that's pretty much all the main retail highlights that are available in Europe. Maybe some of the Star Wars games, but those were multi-platform. There's also a few FPSes like the Goldeneye reboot and The Conduit, but whether those are good is debatable.

This might be an odd one at first, but the Wii version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is pretty cool. It's not a downgraded port of the PS360 version or some kind of shovelware as you might initially assume, but an entirely new game using the same framework of "Sands of Time-inspired 3D cinematic platformer" while using the Wiimote pointer to do some interesting things alongside the usual wall-running, jumping, dodging and whatnot. Definitely worth checking out if you like the Sands of Time games.
Perhaps this one isn't really great considering it's just a straight port of the Gamecube version, but the Resident Evil Remake is quite good. I'm playing it for the first time at the moment, and I'm very much digging its sensibilities and gameplay. If you don't have physical copies of it on the GC or the later ports, it might be a good idea to get the Wii version (it certainly cost way less to purchase from my local CeX, where it was sold for €4 compared to the €25+ to buy the GC original).

Boom blox. Pandora's tower.
I'd recommend Mad World but the PAL version is ruined as it's 50Hz.

Thanks for the responses guys. dsparil - I grew tired of Star Wars when I was a kid so not into the IP. If the games are still fun regardless that's fine though. The FPS's I'm guessing are only good by way of lack of competition on the platform? Apollo Chungus - Yeah, Resident Evil Remake is one of my absolute favourite games. I have it on Cube though. I have a fair few more games on that system so anything ported to Wii I skip over. I remember the Forgotten Sands from back in the day now you mention it, but it got less than stellar reviews. Of course that happened a lot with Wii games due to platform bias so I will take a look into it at least. retr0gamer - Boom Blox is like Opoona, I had never previously seen a recommendation from a source I'd expect would align with my taste. I can put it on the shopping list now. I already have Madworld - I like the aesthetic but the gameplay sometimes grabs me and other times doesn't. I do appreciate the use of John DiMaggio on the commentary though. Pandora's Tower I also own, absolutely lovely game. I think it gets unfairly overlooked since it was grouped into an RPG trio with Xenoblade. I don't think of Pandora's Tower of an RPG so much as an action game. Also going to give a few of my own recommendations for titles people might have overlooked: Endless Ocean 2 - A niche game for sure, but for those who are the target audience will likely be one of their favourite games. The first game is a relaxing ocean exploration game. The sequel adds more 'gamey' elements and feels more like an adventure, but it's nicely balanced and I spent a lot of time just finding all the different creatures and learning about them. I'd love a modern version with a proper photography mode. Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon - One of the better presented Mystery Dungeon games. A really nice playthrough for anybody wanting a more simple dungeon crawler experience. It's available on modern systems. Little King's Story - imo the absolute best 3rd party game on Wii. It is kind of like Pikmin, but with much more challenge and a somewhat twisted sense of humour. I know there's some Cing fans here who probably played it to be fair. Tatsunoko vs Capcom - I'd long awaited a sequel to Marvel vs Capcom 2. This came a year before 3, but whilst that game disappointed me TvsC was the sequel I wanted. Unfortunately licensed music was cut from this version but otherwise a great vs fighter.

The FPS's I'm guessing are only good by way of lack of competition on the platform? Pretty much. It's heavy on sometimes competent ports from other platforms, but there aren't too many of them of them overall. At the time, maybe some of them could be worth it for someone without access to other platforms, but there isn't a whole lot of reason to pick up something like CoD: Modern Warfare 3 today aside from the curiosity factor.

A Shadow’s Tale perhaps? I also second Another Code! I finished a Shadow's Tale. It's a 2 hour indie game stretched out to about 12 hours and a total slog.
