Nah.... I'm the number one TMNT fan, but think they missed the mark completely with their new design. Heads are too big, bodies are too skinny, and the CGI in general doesn't look last gen. I actually liked the first season of their last cartoon the best. The first movie is what they are really all about: dark, underground, dirty and totally B class. I agree, though you've got to love it's sequel for it's cheese factor and the Ninja Rap!

I never caught the 3rd one, only b/c as a kid I assumed it'd always be lame. Same deal with Home Alone 3. I loved the 1st 2, but considered the 3rd one to be a complete farce.

Lord of the Rings 3 breaks the rule though.

You know that was one massive book that was only divided into three by book companies to make it look more appealing to the general public, right?

Third times the charm, or so goes the saying Seriously man. Have we met before in the real world, because you seriously remind me of these cool guys I knew that hanged at this one game shop in VA. Most of them have moved though.

Actually, one book is made up by two volumes, six in whole, but your right that he intend it to be one book. But ultimately, there are three movies that are cut as such and number three is not a dud.

When I was a kid I had some wierd feeling that no video game series could ever go beyon three games in the series, and that the one to do so would be destined for greateness. Yes, I know it's wierd.

Yes, I know it's wierd. oh yeah we truely have a lot of games over 3 now that are pure classics like Madden and Tomb raider and oh those Army men games ruled............ Smartassedness aside I used to think the same thing.

I'm really looking forward to the new TMNT movie.
I always wanna get the 1st TMNT movie on DVD(As it was by far the best of the 3 old ones), but for some reason it doesn't seem to havea region 4 release, even though the 2nd and 3rd films do.
I remember how the main villain of the 3rd movie falls downs towards a river (Wile E Coyte style) and just vanishes as he's meant to hit the water. It was so obvious though, that it was kinda funny.

A quote from an E Online review:
I know people bitch and complain about the low standards of video game journalism all the time, then point to the (apparently?) superior movie and music fields as exemplary. But when you have critics as condescending as this....

But when you have critics as condescending as this.... Holy pisscakes. Looks like somebody missed the eighties. I still don't know what to think about the film myself, but... that's all I'm saying, since my knowledge of TMNT is mostly limited to the video games. Tee hee.
