I was checking my logs last night and it said I had by kicked by Ike telling me to "quit it". I'm assuming it's because I kept connecting/disconnecting. Sorry about that, I turned on IRC last night to check something and forgot to turn it off. IRC doesn't like to stay connected when I'm seeding 800 torrents. It was more or less an accident.
Although some servers tend to disconnect even more frequently than others, regardless.
Anyways, I'm just saying. Don't think I'm trying to annoy anyone. =\ It was just an accident.

I'm gonna go ahead and say if you get kicked without getting banned, it's got a 99.9% chance of being a joke and you can come right back in. This goes for anyone. If you're kicked AND banned, you probably deserved it and shouldn't come back. Otherwise, think of kicking as the IRC version of friendly punching.

Yes, I figured you were idle and it was an accident. It just gets irritating when every five minutes *** x has left the chat *** x has joined the chat *** x has left the chat *** x has joined the chat

I know on XChat you can hide join and part messages by right-clicking on a channel's name. I have no idea what mIRC does.

I know on XChat you can hide join and part messages by right-clicking on a channel's name. I have no idea what mIRC does. There's another side to that - hiding join/part messages also means that those people that like to say hello to people as they arrive in the channel can effectively no longer do so.

Yeah, I mean, I usually leave them on, but in the event of multiple netsplits or connection issues like that it can help make the chat easier to read.

lol 3 years later still banned. OK, here's the deal. You were banned from the channel for acting like an asshat. You know this, so don't bother playing dumb. You won't ever be unbanned, so knock it off or it just won't be the chat you'll be banned from.
