The thing about OVAs is that they go more for quality than quantity (condensed stories, ultra-fluid animation, higher-quality action scenes), which makes sense considering that it's not made for TV. Because of that episode numbers shouldn't go over something like 8.

The anime seems like something you would see in Holywood Video.

Looks a lot like FE4 and FE5 in style. A lot of people are decrying the graphics as being subpar, but they're really just being consistent. It's still a bigger leap over the GBA games than, say, Advance Wars DS was over its predecessors.

Excellent coverage of the series! The visuals on the DS game look very nice; the Ultma VIII-esque battle sprites look a bit weird though.

They sort of remind me of PC games from the 90's for some reason.

It's a remake of FE1? Again? I thought they already did that on the SNES. I wonder if it will include that new quest that was on the SNES Marth FE game.
Well, given the Original Marth games never got an English release, I can't really complain.
The graphics aren't what I expected, but they do look better than the GBA ones. It's kinda neat how you can see the map while the top screen shows the battle.

It will most likely come out in English, so I'm pretty happy that its a remake.

It better be an FE3 remake and not just FE1. I'm not going to buy a fully localized game and still wait for a Rom translation just so I can play Book 2.

It'd be great if not only it was a remake of both FE1 and 3, but had some new content, too.

You call this an improvement ? I call it "creeping mainstream". So before you actually had to (albeit sometimes) make a conscious effort if you wanted to promote your unit, now you just smash everything in sight and thats it ? Where did the tactics part go ? The part where you sneak a thief amidst the enemy, with the last 10 HP, trying to steal that unobligatory item ?
Yet again, no thinking needed anymore, just splash your units in whatever order you want, because you will get your supports in any case. Improvement ? I think not. Although the turn numbers for supports in the previous versions could really use a cut, i suppose.
Did we play completely different games ? In all of the GBA FE games it couldnt be clearer. It gave you a direct list, you could talk with him, and him, and her. Crystal clear ? Absolutely, if you ask me. I mean, hey, a list !
Anyway, it seems that after a few more installments FE will go completely mainstream and will turn into a game that "plays itself", no thinking required, just kill everyone and give all the exp to whoever you like...meh.

I take it you're probably pissed that Radiant Dawn features a mid-battle save feature?
Which I should probably update this article with, but I haven't played more than a few missions, after restarting because Normal mode was too retardedly difficult.

And this is a "feature"...how, exactly ? Like you couldnt just hit "resume" in the last 3 games.

The fact it doesnt instantly save if a character dies? I would have thought that was a nicer feature rather than being forced to restart the entire battle.

It really wasn't that bad. They're just peeved about the game.
