I have this problem where almost everything I choose in life is a bad choice. Like, there are some artists or actors that I like, but then I learn they're assholes. It's gotten to the point where I feel very tentative about liking something, because almost everything I like turns out to be bullshit.
I almost never do this, but I wonder if anyone else on here feels the same, because I feel very lonely about it right now.
@ Vetus: I like how you criticized what other people consider to be "adult".

It's called "finding out who you are". You'll figure it out eventually.

The sad truth of humanity is that the vast majority of us are assholes. Mother Teresa was the exception, not the rule. Page 140 of this thread, specifically, is blocked by my work's browser. I'd laugh if it's because of the Drano.

Paraphrasing from Facebook SHUT THE FUCK UP AND JUST FIX UNEMPLOYMENT ALREADY See also: memegenerator.net/instance/31307445Oh by the way did you hear Mitch McConnell is fillibustering his own bill to let the President adjust the debt ceiling now that he knows the Democrats would support it?

Well the whole debt ceiling issue is very much a McConnell-inspired matter, given that he's on the record as saying he basically wants to keep Obama from doing anything -- and Congressional Republicans voted to raise the debt ceiling during Bush's term. If it weren't for their sudden obstructionist tendencies, this would be a non-issue.
i mean, fuck, for all their talk of biblical teachings and whatnot it's like none of them ever read the story of joseph

Sick of politics, period, and how it sticks its tentacles into every last aspect of existence.

Agreed. As if there's not enough to be depressed about in life, they have to shove it down our throats like a solid dong.

Agreed. As if there's not enough to be depressed about in life, they have to shove it down our throats like a solid dong. It's as if one day, everyone in Washington DC got together and said "You know, there are people out there that hate politics and don't want to talk about it 24/7." and the solution was "Well, then we're just going to have to politicize EVERYTHING and leave them NO CHOICE!"
