isn't it great that indie developers nowadays CAN make a game with great pixelart aigan?remember the late ninties, when everything HAD to be polygons and 3D and shit. I personally LOVE that 2D "retro" graphics are acceptable now. That some games have bad art and some have good art is normal... But think about sword and sworcery or fez, weren't they amazing to look at?yes, there are lots of black sheep, but also some diamonds. When I think of the late 90's and indie games, I tend to think more of stuff like this: I'm not gonna lie. If somebody made a game that looked like that and it was at least somewhat decent, I'd totally buy it.

what..........is........it? it looks soo........good and weird and low budget at the same time. I think the 90ies indie scene just passed by me because i was too busy playing shitty low poly tomb raider clones.

fervir.itch.io/elysisANOTHER ZELDA CLONE? SERIOUSLY! Ok, this one looks ok, I'll admit that, but still not something special. isn't it great that indie developers nowadays CAN make a game with great pixelart aigan?remember the late ninties, when everything HAD to be polygons and 3D and shit. That's some witty repartee there. Also, I'm surprised nobody mentioned Teslagrad yet. It's a rather enjoyable puzzle-platformer with a Metroidvania structure. However, since it's primarily focused on puzzles, every room feels like it has a purpose and each one is fairly distinct from the rest.

Hi everybody I'd like to introduce you Aero's Quest, a title in development since 4 months ago by me in behalf of Soloweb N.V. Studios and ravenseyestudios.com We are developing the game for PC/Windows, Mac/OS X and we are planning to ask soon for the Sony and Microsoft license. Here you can find the announcement trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xG_Mz5TS6ZABeside the main versions of the game we are also developing a smaller HTML5 free version just to show a little bit of the game, the game-play and the game style. We just released a HTML5 beta version and you can play it online at this link: aerosquest.com/html5/Obviously the HTML5 version is way smaller and less complex than the others but hopefully you may find it funny as well. Kindly let me know your feedback, what would you change, what would you add and if you spot any bug or glitch. Thanks for playing!

Hi all. Made a game hardcore puzzle, with two friends as indie developers, please rate. Thanks. (Sorry translate) You are the captain of a research station in deep space. You are a great combat pilot, with perfect precision with blasters and launching missiles at enemies. However, in deep space, there is no enemy to utilize your skills. At the space station you discover the main computer has malfunctioned, and planetary colony production has ceased. You are required to manually take over production. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ExcaliburGames.Tetrarium

Vetus, why do you keep posting about really horrible games? Do you secretly want us all to play them?

This one is both free and hilarious. www.ironpencil.com/yescallmengame/You play as a fedora-wearing MRA making non arguments to people who call into your talk show via playing cards placed on a game mat decorated in generic anime girls. Eventually, you start influencing the gender politics of entire dimensions by simply being a terrible human being. Only complaint I have is that there's one card that creates new energy cards needed to play other cards when used, and using that card too much creates a monster of a deck that makes it harder and harder to get usable cards late game if you don't balance out wiith cards that destroy other cards for good. waifubartending.com/This one is still in development, a visual novel about a bartender in a cyberpunk future. There's a demo that I still haven;t tried yet due to being busy, but it looks really interesting. The Kickstarter for this one also ended very recently. It's a mixture of visual novel, romance, and 80s horror/parody. It's made by Hope Chapman, a former reviewer for TGWTG I've been following since her early Youtube days, and the game has a free demo out on the link right now.
