I need to correct some information. The game is 80megabit, i just found out from twitter. The release date has been leaked from an online article in france. www.jeuxvideo.com/news/629291...mega-drive.htmIt's saying it'll be released September 16, 2017.

Please vote Locomalito's Super Hydorah on Steam Greenlight! Like Maldita Castilla EX it's a much improved version of an already brilliant game. Also I believe this time it will have 2 player simultaneous play!

Also I believe this time it will have 2 player simultaneous play! Locomalito's stuff is consistently fantastic, deserving of far more recognition than it gets!

Here's a trailer for an interesting game project with amalgamation of genres(FPS roguelike, survival, base building) called Genesis Alpha One from one the oldest indie developers- Team 17. You might need a sunglasses for this though( that bloom got me blinded good ).

I've finished Mastema: Out of Hell days ago. I wanted to love it but, while visually it's great as expected, and the author implemented some corrections and bugfixes (knowing him beforehand helped), it's not a great game. Collisions and jumps aren't always impeccable and often become the main reasons of death, stages are very short and generally simple if not bland at times, bosses mostly follow very simple and predictable attack patterns while having a bit too much health, so they are often easier than the levels before them. Most annoyingly, however, is that you lose the sword when you die, and often whole levels are without a new one to collect, degrading the game into an avoidance annoyance, all while the hitboxes of some enemies are quite big; author admitted some passages cannot be beaten without taking some damage. On the plus side, the visual variety is great, with 19 levels, and being just three stages each they never overstay their welcome. Some levels have two exits, so you don't see all levels and bosses in a single playthrough, and you don't even need a second full playthough since after finishing the game, level selection is unlocked. And there are still some pretty nice moments here and there, like some traps and monsters unique to only one or very few levels. It's a project borne of passion and it shows, but the author is clearly more of an artist than a programmer or game designer. Still, for its low price and the automatic save after each level, it was good to play in short bursts. --- World of Horror, the project that is basically Lovecraft + Junji Ito + B/W MacVentures + Card Game, has landed on Steam Greenlight and seems to be doing good there; a new demo is expected to come soon. Even if Greenlight's days are apparently counted (no word about exactly when it will be replaced by Steam Direct though, so I won't believe it'll be this Spring until it happens), it's time to give an upvote. Since the project was born on Itch.io however, I assume/hope the full game will be available there too. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=893340237

I should've mentioned this weeks ago, but I kept forgetting. (And I'm not sure if this is exactly the right place for it anyway. My apologies if it's not.) Anyway, I was contacted on Tumblr by a one-person indie developer who created a game called Reflection of Mine. He seemed to be wondering if anyone would be interested in covering it for the site, and he provided a free Steam key. So, if anyone's interested, let me know.

Good afternoon. I would like to show you Vulture Strike, a shoot 'em up in which you can travel freely between 2 parallel timelines. A demo with 2 levels and 3 difficulties has been recently released and the Greenlight campaign was just launched. Edit: The game has been Greenlit and the Steam page is available now, the newest version of the demo (0.92) with several graphical and balance improvements can be downloaded through the Steam client now: store.steampowered.com/app/635590/Vulture_Strike/It is a weird game, the cliché "easy to learn, hard to master" doesn't apply necessarily; it takes a bit to get used to the mechanics for most players; I hope you find it interesting and consider voting for it to pass Greenlight. Have a wonderful day.

dustinbragg.itch.io/yo-noid-was-ahead-of-its-timeOh man. A pastiche of PS1 advergames, with Dadaist humor, surreal environs, and oh-so-cheesey smooth Jazz BGM. Aside from "dabbing" (I'm both too old and too unhep for whatever THAT'S all about) this was pratically made for me. And to think these kids did this within a measly month. Ugh, I'm such a useless lump.
